‘Scream Queens’ Season 2 Star John Stamos Teases Fans With A Very Revealing Behind-The-Scenes Photo
Ryan Murphy and company are already building up excitement for Season 2 of Scream Queens.
Production for the new season of the slasher comedy is currently underway, and John Stamos teased fans with a revealing behind-the-scenes pic from the set.
What did the Full House star share with fans? According to Entertainment Weekly, Stamos posted a picture on Instagram of himself disrobing in front of a shower.
“Dirty day on the set of @screamqueensfox #Showertime,” he wrote alongside the image.
Based on Stamos’ steamy pic, it looks like there will be at least one Uncle Jessie shower scene, which is definitely an exciting prospect for most fans.
Season 2 of Scream Queens is set in a hospital owned by Cathy Munsch, who is played by Jamie Lee Curtis. Unfortunately, a lot of mystery still surrounds Stamos’ character, and it isn’t clear if the shower scene will be a hot and steamy foray or lead to a horrible death.
According to Bustle, Stamos is playing the character of Dr. Brock Holt in the new season. Holt is characterized as “a brilliant – but secretive – head surgeon.”
The character description makes it sounds like Dr. Holt is important, so he probably won’t meet his end in the shower. In fact, Stamos will appear in all of the episodes in the coming season, which rules out an early death.
That is, of course, assuming that the shower scene is placed early in the season.
Furthermore, there is a possibility that Dr. Holt is a bad guy and could be getting ready to pull a Psycho on an unsuspecting victim in the shower. After all, anything is a possibility when it comes to Scream Queen.
Whatever happens, it’s good to see Stamos being pushed outside of his comfort zone. According to Design & Trend, Glen Powell hinted that Stamos would be getting naked this season on Scream Queens.
“All I can tell you is that I read a scene where John Stamos and I are not wearing clothes,” Powell told E! News. “So I figure out my diet. I should probably not have a carb for a second because I don’t want John Stamos to show me up.”
It isn’t known if the shower scenes was what Powell was referring to, especially since Stamos is all alone in the pic. At the same time, more information was revealed about Stamos’ character during Comic-Con last month. Along with being a bright doctor, Dr. Holt had a complete hand transplant.
“[But he] may have the hand of a brilliant surgeon, or [he] may have one from a squash player who killed his opponents,” Ian Brennan, executive producer, teased fans.
Meanwhile, Carter Matt is reporting that fans can expect a number of different changes in Season 2 of Scream Queens. For starters, the story will feature a major time jump from the events that unfolded in Season 1, which allow the characters some time to get away.
Also, Hester is going to make a cameo, but it’s still not clear what that will entail and how involved she will be throughout the season.
Apart from Stamos, former Twilight star Taylor Lautner is also portraying a doctor at the hospital. However, in contrast to Stamos, Launter’s character has a very dark past. The Fuller House star is joining the cast of Scream Queens for the first time. Starring alongside Stamos and Curtis are Emma Roberts (Chanel Oberlin), Lea Michele (Hester), Abigail Breslin (Chanel #5, Libby Putney), and Keke Palmer (Zayday).
James Earl (Candy Striper), Cecily Strong, Colton Haynes, Jerry O’Connell, and Laura Bell Bundy are also joining the show for the first time.
The new season of Scream Queens is scheduled to premiere on Sept. 20 on Fox.
