Tamar Braxton Confirms ‘The Real’ Feud, Accuses Adrienne Bailon & Tamera Mowry-Housley Of Using Her For Publicity
Tamar Braxton is firing back at her former The Real co-hosts and confirming a feud with former friends Tamera Mowry-Housley and Adrienne Bailon.
Almost four months has passed since Tamar was fired from The Real, but now BET is reporting that Tamar is officially confirming that she’s no longer speaking to any of her former co-stars, including Adrienne, Tamera, Loni Love, and Jeannie Mai.
Tamar took to Twitter to get some home truths off her chest on August 7, where she slammed her former co-stars, claiming that the women are using her name for press and even accusing Tamera and Adrienne of only attending her son’s third birthday party to “save their a***s.”
According to screen captures of Tamar’s now deleted tweets uploaded to Instagram by The Shade Room, Tamar set the record straight after Tamera told fans during a Periscope question and answer session that things were still good between herself and Braxton following her departure.
“I wish that I would stop being brought up since I was so BAD,” Tamar began her series of now deleted tweets about an alleged feud following Tamera’s August 7 Persicope chat. “I’ve never said anything bad nor will I.”
Braxton then appeared to allude to a photo of herself and Tamera on a flight together, which was uploaded to social media last month amid reports that Braxton was locked in a nasty feud with her co-stars.
As reported by TheyBf.com in July, Braxton and Mowry-Housley found themselves on the same flight when flying to New Orleans for Essence Festival, which had fans speculating that Tamar and Tamera were still cordial despite Braxton’s firing.
But Tamar is now making it clear that that’s not the case.
“Oh… since the press release of the airplane ride,” Braxton tweeted, appearing to suggest that Tamera may have even planted the story of their plane ride to dispel the feud rumors.
“No shade… but don’t believe the hype!” Tamar then continued in her scathing Twitter messages. “I haven’t spoken to [anyone]… real friends don’t need press.”
Tamar Braxton’s fans then questioned why Tamera and Tamer’s other former The Real co-star, Adrienne Bailon, attended Braxton’s son, Logan’s, recent third birthday party, to which Braxton responded by accusing the two of only attending to take photos.
“They came, took [pics] and left,” Braxton clarified, accusing Mowry-Housley and Bailon of attending the birthday party to “save their a***s” as rumors of a feud between the woman circulated following Braxton’s firing.
Tamar then told her fans that she would be cleansing her social media account of the posts following her Twitter spree regarding her The Real feud.
“I’m going to delete my tweets because I give life to the living,” Braxton told fans in a message that still remains on her Twitter page.
Tamar’s pretty scathing exposé comes just weeks after Adrienne took to Instagram to post a snap of herself and boyfriend Israel Houghton attending Logan’s birthday party, even referring to Tamar as being “family” in the caption.
“Happy Birthday Logan,” Adrienne captioned the snap on June 5. “Titi A Loves you! @tamarbraxton always an epic fiesta! Love you to the moon & back! #HappyBirthdayLogan #Familia #PeppaPig.”
But despite Adrienne’s post dispelling the feud rumors at the time, more recently, Loni Love confirmed that there is in fact a The Real feud going on, revealing that Tamar has actually not spoken to any of The Real ladies in recent weeks.
“I have not spoken with her recently,” Loni admitted to Page Six of the current status of her relationship with Braxton. “None of the girls have spoken to her recently.”
“We’ve reached out, but we haven’t heard from her,” Love continued. “People just want time. You can’t badger them or make them talk, it’s understandable.”
