‘Days Of Our Lives’ Preview: Clyde, Eve, And More Old Faces – Theresa’s Terror – Tate Update And More ‘DOOL’ Spoilers

Days Of Our Lives will not be airing for two weeks because of the Olympics. It will be a difficult time for loyal viewers, but NBC has softened the blow by releasing an incredible preview of what is coming next. Forget the times when Days was dull. According to the video clip, there is going to be a lot of excitement, drama, action, suspense, joy, and terror. Find out what is coming to Salem with the latest DOOL spoilers and watch the extended preview clip below.

There are Days Of Our Lives spoilers ahead. If you do not want to know what is going to happen when the NBC soap opera returns on August 22, then stop reading.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, DOOL spoilers were teased by Eric Martsolf, who plays Brady Black on Days Of Our Lives. The soap opera actor revealed a few things about his character, Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley), Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston), and Tate’s kidnapping. In CBS Soaps In Depth‘s interview in the latest issue of the magazine, he mentioned what brought Brady and Theresa together. He also revealed that Tate would be found, but there would be more bad things coming for the couple. Martsolf added that if Victor kidnapped Tate or had any part in it, Brady would never forgive his grandfather.

On the last episode of Days Of Our Lives, Tate still had not been found. It was teased in Jen Lilley‘s interview with SoapCentral that the storyline would run through the month of August. That means when the soap opera returns to NBC after the 2016 Olympics, Brady and Theresa should find their baby. That was confirmed in a preview clip posted by NBC on their website.

That was not the only thing revealed in the video, though. Don’t expect the joy of a reunited family to last long. Trouble is coming to Salem and there isn’t just one villain returning, but three. That’s right, in addition to the big bad’s on Days Of Our Lives, fans will see three more evil characters who will spread terror, fear, and even death in Salem.

In the preview clip, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) takes Brady and Theresa to be reunited with their kidnapped son, Tate. In the next scene, Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) is in a hospital bed surrounded by her loved ones. Suddenly, Victor is told that he is being arrested for conspiracy to kidnap Tate. There is no talking out of this one as the clip shows Brady’s grandfather behind bars. However, did he really do it or was it set up to make him look guilty? As for Caroline Brady’s (Peggy McCay) vision, it never revealed that Victor was talking about abduction or Tate, just that nothing could go wrong. Could he have been talking about something else?

Next, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Philip Kiriakis (John Paul Lavoisier) talk about Deimos’ baby. Their plan is to not tell Vincent Irizarry’s character. Instead, Chloe and Philip will pretend that the child belongs to them. However, Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) demands to know if Deimos is the father of Chloe’s baby.

As for Billy Flynn and Melissa Reeves’ characters on Days Of Our Lives, Chad DiMera and Jennifer Horton will be dealing with Abigail’s death. As fans know, she is really alive. However, Chad and Jennifer have been told otherwise because of Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis), but the reason is unknown. DOOL spoilers tease that Chad and Jennifer will both grieve and will have trouble coping. Chad is seen venting his frustration by throwing things in the DiMera mansion. Jennifer will likely resort to relapsing and going back to using prescription pills.

Next up in the Days Of Our Lives preview is Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), who is wheeled into the emergency room on a stretcher. She is unconscious and has a bandage wrapped around her head. The narrator calls it a medical crisis and hints her life is in danger.

Aiden Jennings is the new district attorney. Instead of focusing on real criminals, Daniel Cosgrove’s character goes after Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso). He seems to know that Hope killed Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo). He probably doesn’t have proof but is trying to get Hope to admit to it. Since Aiden and Andre are in cahoots now, DiMera wants Hope and Rafe (Galen Gering) punished. Will she admit the truth or keep lying about Stefano’s murder? Will Aiden uncover proof and prosecute the woman he supposedly loves?

Finally, the most frightening part of the Days Of Our Lives preview clip reveals that Clyde Weston (James Read) returns to Salem and he isn’t too friendly. He seems completely different and is actually scary. Clyde also brings along two of his prison pals who have past connections to Salem. First, he threatens Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) with a gun. Another one of the escaped convicts goes after Theresa while she is getting ready for her wedding. He grabs her around the neck and begins to strangle her. The felon must have taken her somewhere because the third man bursts into the chapel with a gun to Eve Donovan’s (Kassie DePaiva) head. Brady immediately demands to know where Theresa is. Suddenly, a gun goes off and the man says that they all need to die.

One thing that should be noted in the clip is at the end, Victor is at the wedding. Brady and Theresa would not get married until after Tate is found. Either the ceremony takes place before Victor is arrested or he is found not guilty in Tate’s kidnapping.
