Sharon Osbourne Still ‘Loves And Needs’ Ozzy ‘No Matter What’

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne still love each other, and no matter what happens that will always be true. It may not be a scientifically provable fact but it is the consensus of all the parties involved. The love is so obvious between them even the fans can see this family unit is unbreakable.

The Osbourne family unit is a powerful force that holds all its members securely in unconditional love. Sharon Osbourne may be hurt by Ozzy’s affair, but she has a tremendous love for him that will never die. Her husband very obviously feels the same way about her, despite his indiscretion.

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne have been married since 1982. They have two beautiful children, Kelly and Jack, both of whom are now adults. Most importantly they are very much in love and always have been. The family remains close-knit, and the love between them all is obvious.

Sharon Osbourne’s close friend Sam Bailey is doing all she can to support the family. Sam, is a former X Factor contestant. She has maintained a close relationship with the X Factor judge. Sam explained how the couple feels about each other, as quoted by Express.

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne face yet another trial to their marriage. Ozzy, now 67-years-old, has admitted to sex addiction after his affair with the family’s 45-year-old hair stylist Michelle Pugh, was exposed. Ozzy is currently in outpatient therapy and will enter inpatient treatment for the problem immediately after returning from his Black Sabbath tour. Ozzy said in a statement, that he is terribly ashamed of his own behavior.

“Over the last six years, I have been dealing with a sex addiction. I am mortified at what my behavior has done to my family. I thank God that my incredible wife is at my side to support me.”

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne are facing this difficulty head on. They are staying together and they hope fans understand.

Sharon Osbourne finds it embarrassing and worries that people do not understand sex addiction as well as other types of addictions. She explained on The Talk what a truly difficult situation this is for her family and her concern for public perception of her husband’s condition.

“After the [Black Sabbath] tour, he goes into impatient for three months. He’s working at it. It’s hard because it affects the whole family. And, it’s quite embarrassing to talk about. Somehow drugs and drink is more acceptable, I think. When it’s somebody that has a sex addiction, it’s embarrassing. He’s come out and admitted it finally. It’s very, very hard.”

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, despite their celebrity status, have had their share of hard knocks in life. Most notably an off the road vehicle accident that landed Black Sabbath’s singer in critical condition a few years ago. The family faced that situation together, just as they faced Sharon’s nearly fatal cancer and their son Jack’s drug problem together.

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne have each faced death and narrowly survived. Sharon Osbourne nearly died of cancer, and Ozzy was nearly killed in the four-wheeler accident. Those kinds of experiences deepen a person. They make people aware of what is really important, and for this couple, love, marriage, and family are most important.

Jack Osbourne, Ozzy and Sharon’s 30-year-old son, also weighed in on the topic. He is confident his parents will work out their problems according to ABC News. This is far from the first rocky sea the family has sailed and they always end up strongly together in the end.

“They’ve been together for so long and this isn’t their first rodeo. They don’t have this picture-perfect marriage and they’ve never kind of claimed to so they’re trying to figure it out I guess.”

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne have raised a strong family, however “imperfect” its individual members may be. The love between all of them is apparent, and all of them recognize the right for both parents and children to be human and make mistakes.

The Osbourne family has a certain cohesiveness that is exemplary, and even a bit old-fashioned, despite the modern problems they face, they always face them together. This sex addiction problem will be no different.

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne will sort out their problems with the help of Jack and Kelly, and the family will come back even stronger for it.
