‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Spoilers: Will They Write In Caterina Scorsone’s Pregnancy?

It is almost time for a new season of Grey’s Anatomy, and everyone can’t wait to see how it all goes down. News just came out that Caterina Scorsone, who plays Amelia on Grey’s Anatomy, is pregnant in real life. This has people wondering if this will mean that Grey’s Anatomy will decide to write her pregnancy into the story next season. Us Weekly shared the news about Caterina being pregnant. She is expecting her second child with husband Rob Giles.

Amelia and Owen having a baby could really change things up on Grey’s Anatomy. Caterina shared how this will affect filming and what is planned. She said, “It’ll be challenging. It’s going to happen somewhere during the shooting season. But Shondaland is the best place for that to happen.”

When asked if it will affect her storyline on Grey’s Anatomy she said, “I don’t think so. We’re picking up the season immediately after we left off, which was the wedding where Amelia was not pregnant.” It just doesn’t look like the timing was right to put this into the story.

The thing is, if they made the choice to write her pregnancy into Grey’s Anatomy, it wouldn’t match the timeline of her personal one at all. It just doesn’t seem like it would work, and throwing a baby into that marriage right away could really shake things up. They seem to be a great couple that has finally been able to make their relationship work out after a lot of terrible times in the past.

TV Line also shared a few spoilers about the upcoming season of Grey’s Anatomy. Caterina did also tease that they may just say that Amelia overdid it with the cake a bit at her wedding. Everyone knows that Grey’s Anatomy has hid pregnancies before and they can do it once again. She also teased that they aren’t in the first episode very much because they are off enjoying their time after getting married.

Caterina also shared another spoiler about the new season of Grey’s Anatomy. Everyone remembers that Alex and Jo were dealing with a lot when the season ended. She had just revealed that she is actually married and that is the real reason she won’t marry Alex. They seem like the perfect couple, but at the same time it does look like they might be over. Alex told her if she wouldn’t marry him it was over, but he still loves her. Caterina teased a bit about how it will go down on Grey’s Anatomy.

“It got messy for them, but that’s going to become a really multi-layered story that has social and personal overtones…. It’s a real opportunity to explore some important issues.”

The fans can’t wait to see if Alex and Jo can work it all out on Grey’s Anatomy even though these two have been through a lot lately. Alex is totally in love with her and wants it to work. When he finds out the truth about her past, he might be willing to forgive everything. Of course, if they work it out, this doesn’t leave room for Alex and Meredith Grey to end up together, which a lot of fans think is inevitable. Alex is also going to have to apologize for getting the wrong idea and beating up a guy who didn’t deserve it.
