Fiona Apple ‘Openly Admitted’ Hashish And Marijuana Was Hers

Fiona Apple was arrested on Wednesday night after her tour bus was pulled over at 8 pm at a US Border Patrol Checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas.

According to the Hudspeth County Sheriff’s Office, Fiona Apple “freely admitted” that the hashish found on the tour bus belonged to her.

During a routine check, the pot and hash were found and confiscated at which point Fiona Apple was arrested and booked on misdemeanor drug charges. Police found the drugs in a blue backpack that was spotted by drug-sniffing dogs.

According to police, the backpack contained a glass container with 0.01 pounds of weed and 0.01 pounds of hash. In real world, terms the weed was the size of a baseball and the hashish was the size of a golf ball.

Fiona Apple was eventually released from jail on $10,000 bond.

You may recall that Sierra Blanca, Texas is the same location where Snoop Dogg and Willy Nelson were busted for marijuana possession.

Apparently, our Border Patrol funds are being used to place singers behind bars as they tour throughout Texas.

Fiona Apple’s reps have not yet responded to her arrest, and the future court date for her marijuana possession has not been revealed.
