Jessica Simpson Shares Baby Photos On Fiance’s Birthday [Photo]

Jessica Simpson showed her fans more adorable pictures of her baby, Maxwell Drew, in celebration of her fiance Eric Johnson’s 33rd birthday parth.

Despite the fact that it was Johnson’s birthday, his adorable daughter understandably stole the show as she posed for candid pictures with both mom and dad, reports People.

Simpson posted two pictures, along with the caption:

“Last year at Daddy’s party, Maxwell was in my belly. This year she’s in my arms!”

In the picture of her and her daughter, the singer is seen with a huge smile on her face as she holds her daughter close. Johnson, meanwhile, sports a Red Sox cap as he looks down at his four-month-old baby girl, appearing to enjoy his first birthday as a father.

Simpson, whose pregnancy weight gain was the focus of many critics, debuted her post-baby body on Katie earlier this month, and also talked about her struggle to lose weight. The 32-year-old stated:

“My doctors told me [my pregnancy weight] was a lot of water, and when my water broke. … All the weight did not come out with the baby. I had to stay focused on my diet. I want to be as healthy as I can because I’m a mom now.”

The Examiner notes that Jessica Simpson has lost more than 40 pounds since she gave birth to Maxwell Drew in May. Jessica also showed off her body in the pictures with Maxwell Drew at Johnson’s birthday party.

The 5-foot-3 singer reportedly weighed over 200 pounds while she was pregnant, but has since been under a strict diet and exercise plan aimed at getting her back down to her ideal weight. So far, Simpson has made great progress by walking and working out regularly, as well as eating small balanced meals made up of healthy foods.

When talking of her weight struggle, Simpson stated:

“I have to separate myself from the world’s expectations,” she said, “I have to look inside myself. I want to be a role model. For me, I really want to do something that is a lifestyle, because in the past, I’ve been known to yo-yo diet. I’m not a supermodel. I just want to be healthy for my daughter….I just wanna be a better version of myself.”
