Gerard Butler Tries To Follow Jennifer Aniston’s Rule When Choosing Film Projects
Gerard Butler’s films as of late have not done well at the box office, nor have they been reviewed well. London Has Fallen and Gods of Egypt weren’t successful, and it looks like Gerard Butler has to step up his film game if he hopes to please his potential wife. Maybe he should try to follow his former co-star Jennifer Aniston’s advice!
In a recent interview, Jennifer Aniston admitted that the took whatever film projects that came her way, saying that it was important for her to please those around her.
“Some of the movies I’ve made, I bow my head in slight shame over,” she said, according to the Huffington Post. “I’m trying to be better at that. I’m a bit of a people pleaser. I’ve got to stop.”

One of those movies that she might be referring to is The Bounty Hunter, in which she played Gerard Butler’s ex-wife. The movie was released in 2010 and has a 13 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Since then, Jennifer Aniston has started to hold herself to higher standards, resulting in Golden Globe nominations for her performance in Cake.
Meanwhile, the 300 star has not been doing so well when it comes to picking movies. He goes for the blockbusters that seem to get reviewed poorly and also perform mediocrely at the box office. One of his films, Gods of Egypt, became a center of controversy for whitewashing this summer.
Maybe it is time that the Scottish actor starts applying Jennifer Aniston’s rule on picking films.
But it’s summer now, which means that he is busy spending time with his future wife, Morgan Brown. They have been having fun at home in Malibu, during their trips to Hawaii and, most recently, hanging out in Italy.
“Gerard Butler flashes a huge grin while posing alongside his girlfriend Morgan Brown […] in Ischia, Italy,” reports Just Jared. “The couple, who just arrived in town to attend the Ischia Global Fest, was spotted taking a boat ride during their afternoon sightseeing.”
He also proved himself quite the family man when he met up with his nieces, who were visiting Italy.

Gerard Butler and his girlfriend, Morgan Brown, have been attached at the hip since the very beginning of summer. The 300 star has also introduced her to many of his friends, making sure that his future wife becomes an integral part of his personal and social life in Hollywood.
“Sean Penn, Gerard Butler and Owen Wilson enjoyed a bros beach day together over the weekend in Malibu, California,” reports the Daily Mail. “Gerard had enjoyed a reputation as a bit of a ladies man before he started dating Brown two years ago. He’s been linked in the past with Hollywood beauties including Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Aniston and supermodel Naomi Campbell. Sean and Gerard were spotted enjoying an animated conversation on Saturday after lunch at a nearby cafe in Malibu.”
Last year, she was seen with what looked like an engagement ring, but since then, she has not sported it in public. Gerard and Morgan went through a brief split, so that could be the reason that the ring has not found its way back on her finger. It’s more important to solidify the relationship before taking any brash actions!
It’s still very possible that the 46-year-old actor wants to make Morgan Brown his wife. He has been taking part in more domestic aspects of their life together, including dropping her off at work, taking leisurely walks by the beach, and taking it slow as summer ripens.
