‘Teen Mom 2’ Kailyn Lowry And Javi Marroquin’s Divorce Is Still On: ‘I Think I’m Meant To Be Alone’

Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin are not getting back together. Following rumors of a potential reunion between the former Teen Mom 2 couple, Lowry has told fans she may be meant to be alone.

Just days after Marroquin returned to Delaware after a 6-month deployment in Qatar, Kailyn Lowry took to Twitter, where she hinted that there was no chance of her and Marroquin mending their marriage.

“I think I’m meant to be alone,” Kailyn Lowry wrote to her fans and followers on Twitter on August 2. “If I don’t push someone away, they leave on their own… Completely fine and I accept it 100%.”

A few hours later, Kailyn Lowry added, “Never experienced this love/hate I’m feeling rn.”

Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin tied the knot in late 2012 before Marroquin traveled out of state to train for his job in the Air Force. Then, one year later, they celebrated their marriage with a much bigger ceremony in Camden, New Jersey, which was attended by many of their close friends and family members. Two months later, in November, 2013, the former couple welcomed their first child, son Lincoln Marshall Marroquin, now 2.

Kailyn Lowry, who also has an older son, 6-year-old Isaac, from her previous relationship with Jo Rivera, became pregnant a second time at the end of 2015, but tragically, she lost the baby.

Following her miscarriage, Kailyn Lowry began dealing with issues within her marriage that ultimately led her and Marroquin to decide to divorce. As fans saw during the seventh season of Teen Mom 2, Kailyn Lowry wasn’t happy with how Marroquin handled the loss and Marroquin became frustrated after learning Lowry was no longer open to a third child.

While chatting with a friend during the reunion episode, Kailyn Lowry explained her decision to refrain from a third pregnancy.

“Javi and I have not been good for two freakin’ years, why on God’s green earth would I bring another child into that?” Kailyn Lowry told a friend, according to a report by Us Weekly. “He says if I’m not gonna have any more kids, he can’t stay with me.”

During their own conversation, Marroquin told Lowry, “I guess there is no future. I’m always gonna resent you, I’m always be mad at you deep down… Once we decide to get a divorce here, or when we decide to get a divorce when I get home, my dad can move my s**t, and when I get home I don’t have to go to that house.”

During a separate conversation, Kailyn Lowry told her husband she was simply too busy with her two kids and her career to consider a third child.

Also during the show, Kailyn Lowry admitted that parting ways with Marroquin was going to be hard on both of her children.

“Isaac calls him ‘Dad,’ so, like, that’s really freakin’ hard,” she said of her oldest son. “But I want my kids to see a healthy, solid relationship, or not.”

Kailyn Lowry’s husband arrived home from his deployment on Sunday night. On Monday morning, he ventured to the home of Lowry, where he used to live as well, to see his sons and give them a ride to camp. During his homecoming, several photos were shared online, one of which featured him walking in the door to Lowry’s home to the boys.

Kailyn Lowry is currently in production on the upcoming season of Teen Mom 2. No word yet on when she and her family will return to MTV.
