‘Once Upon A Time’ Season 6: What Fans Will Learn About Hook [Spoilers]

Once Upon A Time Season 6 is coming up soon. In a little less than a month, ABC network will begin airing new episodes of the fairy tale drama. Most OUAT spoilers have dealt with Regina and the Evil Queen. But, what about Hook? It turns out fans will be learning quite a bit about Emma’s pirate boyfriend.

There will be Once Upon A Time Season 6 spoilers ahead. If you do not want to know about what to expect with Hook or the other characters, then stop reading.

Executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis told Entertainment Weekly to expect to learn about Hook’s backstory. When asked about his mother, it was hinted that fans may see her or perhaps another relative.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Colin O’Donoghue‘s character has a few secrets. Some of those will come out in Once Upon A Time Season 6. Will they be secrets that will tear apart Hook and Emma? Don’t count on it. This is one couple that will stay together. It was teased that their relationship will only get stronger in the upcoming season of OUAT.

This was further confirmed in Horowitz and Kitsis’ interview with EW. The writers are actually going to let Hook and Emma enjoy their relationship in OUAT Season 6. That is a good thing, especially since the two have already been through so much.

Something else that was teased by the executive producers is that Hook might be getting a job. However, what is the Once Upon A Time character qualified to do for work? That should be interesting, especially since Hook doesn’t strike viewers as the type to follow orders very well. Maybe he would be better suited to run his own business than be someone else’s employee.

Other Once Upon A Time Season 6 spoilers have to do with Emma Swan, portrayed by Jennifer Morrison. With Aladdin (Deniz Akdeniz) being introduced, Emma will learn she was not the first Savior. What will the character learn from Aladdin’s arrival? Can there be more than one Savior at a time? Or is Aladdin the Savior of another world?

As Fashion & Style noted, Once Upon A Time Season 6 will dive into the Savior mythology. Last season, fans learned about the Dark One mythology. Now, it is time for viewers to discover a little more about the opposite.

What else can OUAT fans expect when Once Upon A Time Season 6 begins airing? Regina (Lana Parrilla) will be dealing with the Evil Queen and Mr. Hyde (Sam Witwer). Henry (Jared Gilmore) and Zelena (Rebecca Mader) will be adjusting to the separation. Henry will suddenly have three moms instead of two (Emma is his biological mother, and Regina adopted him). Then, there is Zelena, who always just wanted a family of her own. It seems now she is going to get more than she bargained for with the Evil Queen being added to the mix.

Also, Once Upon A Time Season 6 will feature old characters coming back to Storybrooke. Raphael Sbarge will reprise his role as Dr. Archie Hopper. Expect to see Cinderella’s return, as well. In addition to Aladdin, Jafar (Oded Fehr), and Jasmine (Karen David) will be introduced. There will also be other new characters, such as Sinbad and Scheherezade. Another new face will be Morpheus, the Greek god of dreams, played by Giles Matthey.
