Blake Shelton Confirms Miranda Lambert Cheated, Admits Gwen Stefani Helped Him Heal From The Heartbreak

Blake Shelton is finally ready to open up about his troubled marriage to Miranda Lambert.

The country star even hinted that his marriage ended because Lambert cheated. How did Gwen Stefani help Shelton through it all?

Fans have long suspected that Shelton’s divorce ended over cheating. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Shelton’s latest interview suggests that Lambert was the one who cheated, contrary to popular belief.

Shelton did not directly confirm Lambert’s cheating. He did, however, explain how his romance with Stefani began because they shared similar experiences.

Stefani went through a heartbreaking divorce last summer with Gavin Rossdale. Stefani’s marriage ended after she discovered Rossdale cheated with their children’s nanny.

During his interview with Billboard, Shelton described the moment he told his co-stars on The Voice about his divorce.

“I won’t forget that day,” Shelton admitted. “I looked over at Gwen – who I didn’t really know – and she had these huge tears in her eyes. I thought, ‘Wow, she feels super bad for me!'”

Shelton was unaware that Stefani had gone through her own divorce a month after Shelton split with Lambert. Eventually, Stefani revealed her marital woes to Shelton, who was more than surprised by the timing.

“She didn’t tell me much because we didn’t know each other at the time, but she said, ‘I’m going through something very similar to what you’re going through,” Shelton explained. “I understand. And I hate it. That’s kind of how our friendship and bond started, that day.”

Although the comments do not confirm Lambert’s infidelity, she has gone through a difficult time over the past couple of weeks.

During Lambert’s latest concert in Illinois, the country star broke down and started crying while singing a song she and Shelton had written together.

Fans watch Lambert struggle through the lyrics while she played “Over You.”

“I told you I was a mess,” Lambert told the audience.

Lambert has also been active on social media lately, posting mysterious comments about heartache, dark places, and the healing process.

Is Lambert’s strange activity evidence that she had an affair?

According to Today, Blake Shelton told fans that they could “learn some facts of my divorce” by listening to his new record If I’m Honest.

“Maybe not specifics,” he continued. “But you can get a general idea about it. It is my divorce record, but maybe even more than that, it’s my happy, falling-in-love record too.”

Shelton’s new album is filled will songs about heartbreak, cheating, and getting over love.

In particular, People is reporting that the song, “She’s Got a Way with Words,” relates specifically to Lambert’s affair.

The track follows the story of a lover who cheated and lied.

“When we recorded the vocals for some of these songs, I was only six months removed from when all the crap went down,” Shelton revealed. “When you have a broken heart – at least when I do – you got to get it out of your system. You want people to sympathize with you. I was at rock bottom, in the middle of hell.”

Thankfully, Shelton met Stefani after his divorce, and the two became quick friends.

Eventually, their bond grew into a romance that started with a few friendly text messages.

“Next thing I know, I wake up, and she’s all I care about,” Shelton added. “And I’m wondering if she feels the same about me.”

Once their relationship took off back in November, Shelton and Stefani haven’t looked back.

“Who else on earth could understand going through a high-profile divorce from another musician?” Shelton asked. “You can’t even imagine the similarities in our divorces.”
