‘Outlander’ Stars Sam Heughan And Caitriona Balfe In Love Both On And Off Screen?

Are Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe taking their onscreen romance into the real world?

The Outlander stars are currently filming Season 3 of the hit show, and rumors are swirling about their romance outside of work.

According to Game N Guide, an inside source spotted Heughan and Balfe getting extra comfortable with each other between takes.

“Sam and Caitriona were taking a short break between scenes when I saw them off to the side, holding hands and Sam was even whispering in her ear,” the insider shared. “She was laughing at whatever he said, and well, they looked like an ordinary couple.”

With their relationship reaching new levels, Celeb Dirty Laundry is reporting that Heughan and Balfe might replace Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift as this year’s hottest celebrity couple.

After all, Hiddleston’s public image took a hit because of his romance with Swift, who is fighting a number of different controversies.

Not only did Swift’s breakup with Calvin Harris seem circumspect to many fans, but her ongoing feud with Kanye West reached new heights last week.

West slammed Swift on his track, “Famous,” although he claims that Swift gave him permission before the song was released.

Swift now says that she didn’t know about West’s intentions to insult her, and she is trying to play the victim card.

Unfortunately, West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, shared a recording that proves Swift and West had a conversation about the song before it was released.

With things quickly turning sour for Swift, Hiddleston has been caught up in the circus. In fact, it now looks like Heughan will beat out Hiddleston for a new Armani ad campaign.

This isn’t the first modeling gig for Heughan, who recently appeared in a campaign for Barbour, a British company.

“When I first met Sam, I was immediately struck by the similarities with Barbour. The British countryside has been at the heart of the brand since 1894,” a rep for the company explained. “Sam’s Scottish roots and his genuine love of the outdoors means he brings an authentic and very real connection to the partnership.”

At the same time, there is a possibility that Sam Heughan will become the next James Bond, a role that Hiddleston reportedly wants as well.

Of course, the biggest question for Outlander fans is whether or not Heughan and Balfe are secretly dating when the cameras aren’t rolling.

According to Hall of Fame Magazine, both Heughan and Balfe are single. Although this doesn’t mean they are dating, it does open the possibility of a romance off-screen.

Heughan’s chemistry with Balfe on Outlander in undeniable, so it wouldn’t be that much of a stretch if they hooked up in real life.

Unfortunately, neither star has confirmed their romance in real life.

However, they always appear to be best friends whenever they do interviews together for the show. They even joke around a lot and share the same trailer while production is underway.

Is it possible that they are in love both on and off the screen?

Although fans are holding out hope the rumors turn out to be true, Game N Guide is reporting that the actors denied a real-life romance in the past.

Until more is revealed, fans will have to wait to find out if the Outlander stars announce their romance in the coming months.

In the meantime, Heughan was recently spotted walking in New York City. The Outlander hunk worked out in the city and roamed the streets alone, sparking even more speculation about his status as a lone wolf.

The new season of Outlander is expected to air sometime early next year.
