Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner Going On Second Honeymoon?

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s divorce still doesn’t seem to be moving forward. The Hollywood couple announced they were divorcing on June 30, 2015, and according to various articles and sources since then, the divorce has yet to be finalized. Because of that, the possibility of Ben and Jen calling the divorce off and getting back together has been on everyone’s minds.

In Touch Weekly says they learned from an insider that Affleck “has been relentless in pursuing Jen, and he finally convinced her to go back to Turks and Caicos with him.” This source apparently claims that Ben and Jennifer are planning a second honeymoon and are indeed getting back together and putting an end to the divorce proceedings. Turks and Caicos just happens to be the same place where they first got married in 2005.

Was Jennifer Garner planning this the whole time?

“She’s making him jump through hoops, and he’s willing to do it because he wants things to go back to the way they were between them,” the insider added.

This matches up with previous claims that Garner was testing Ben Affleck and seeing how serious he is about getting back together. Perhaps the second honeymoon is just an added bonus that Garner had no way of predicting.

“She hasn’t made him any promises, but the fact that they are going away together to their special place says a lot about the future of the relationship. Ben sees this trip as a huge step — he wants it to be a second honeymoon.”

In July, Us Weekly reported that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s divorce proceedings had been put on hold a few weeks prior. Apparently, their children — Violet, 10, Seraphina, 7, and Samuel, 4 — were a big reason as to why they began to rethink things. They want to make sure the kids are okay and that they can continue to co-parent in a healthy way.

“She’s making him jump through hoops, and he’s willing to do it because he wants things to go back to the way they were between them,” In Touch’s source added.

Apparently, even the kids have helped Ben set all of this up.

However, Gossip Cop has recently debunked this “second honeymoon” rumor as being completely fabricated by In Touch.

According to a source, Gossip Cop was told that “Jennifer did not take Ben back. There are no plans for a second honeymoon anywhere. They are 100 percent still separated and focused on co-parenting for the kids’ sake.”

Nothing was said about Jennifer Garner’s alleged pregnancy. This all started when the actress was seen wearing some loose-fitting clothing, and ever since then, tabloids have been speculating as to whether or not Jennifer and Ben Affleck would be expecting their fourth child.

With the rumor of a pregnancy, the idea of the couple putting their divorce on hold started to make a bit more sense — assuming Jen’s pregnancy was and is real. In more recent pictures of Garner out in public, it’s difficult to tell whether or not she’s concealing a baby bump.

Ever since Ben Affleck began filming Zack Snyder’s Justice League this summer, he and Jennifer shared a rented house in London with the kids. Ben has said that he and Garner were on good terms and are good friends and have been keeping the family together every chance they get.

Affleck has hinted that the future could take them in a different direction, during an interview with CBS This Morning in March.

“We don’t know what the future’s going to hold, but each step that we take is one where we prioritize our children and everything else comes second,” the actor said.
