Are Drugs The Problem On ‘Real Housewives Of New York’?

Are drugs the best explanation for the odd behavior on The Real Housewives of New York? There have been hints and hushed words for seasons, but the conversation seems to be getting louder. When RHONY’s Jules opened her purse at dinner to offer up a selection of uppers and downer, joking that she would bake them into her calzone, fans and critics on social media wondered if that is the regular selection she carries around or if there is more because of her recent injury. Bethenny Frankel has all but accused Dorinda’s boyfriend, John, of using cocaine, so how much drug use is going on behind the scenes of The Real Housewives of New York?

According to the Inquisitr, accusations have been thrown around between Sonja and Ramona on The Real Housewives of New York about drug abuse and pills. Ramona accused Sonja of popping pills, and then, in turn, Sonja accused Ramona of the same. Ramona came forward to claim that she was “very concerned” that Sonja was mixing pills with booze, and Sonja countered that Ramona was just saying this to deflect from her own drug use. Ramona is alleged to have used diet pills, which have a speed effect, and she admits to abusing sedatives after finding out that her husband was cheating on her.

OK, Here’s the Situation says that the talk of drugs on The Real Housewives of New York started this season when Bethenny alleged that Dorinda’s boyfriend, John, had some issues with cocaine. The way John barged into the all-ladies lingerie show like an agitated sweaty bull made people wonder, and Bethenny claimed it was a combination of booze and cocaine. John came in and humiliated Dorinda, and Bethenny called him out.

“You seem a little lit up right now,” she remarked.

But instead of getting ahold of himself, John kept attacking Bethenny, getting redder and sweatier as he yelled in her face. But Bethenny continued to wave the red flag at the bull.

“Want to do a couple of rails and talk about it?… You want to blow some lines and talk the story through?”

TamaraTattles mentioned that while filming the Real Housewives of New York reunion show, accusations of rampant drug use once again surfaced. Sources are saying that this reunion was one of the worst and most stressful for the RHONY cast members. But allegedly, one of the bombs that went off was Bethenny saying that there was a lot of drug use taking place on The Real Housewives of New York.

And this is supposedly in addition to prescription drug use amongst many housewives of all cities.

“I suppose this is in addition to their Adderall addictions. #Deflection Bethenny already accused John of doing coke. And rumors abound about Dorinda.”

Zap2It is asking the burning question: Are half of the women on The Real Housewives of New York on drugs? It’s clear that all of the RHONY like to party and have a good time, and most happenings involve big goblets of wine, but is this the only intoxicant being used during filming?

While new RHONY cast member Jules thought it was normal and funny to run through the laundry list of drugs in her giant purse at dinner, many of the other women thought this was alarming. Jules listed Percocet, Adderall, and Lidocaine as some of the things she was carrying, and Carole especially thought this was odd. She also thought that Adderall was the way Jules was staying so thin.

“Why is she carrying around all these drugs? She’s f***ing crazier than I thought.”

Bethenny has asked LuAnn a few times if she was high after LuAnn and Sonja bragged about being able to go out clubbing until 5 a.m.
