Chloe Lukasiak On Dating After Ricky Garcia Split, Why ‘Dance Moms’ Alum Is Still Single

Chloe Lukasiak is not ready to jump back into the dating scene just yet. Months after her split with ex-boyfriend, Ricky Garcia, the Dance Moms alum revealed that she plans to stay single this summer.

Rather than jumping in on a new relationship, Chloe Lukasiak wanted to focus on herself for the time being. According to International Business Times, the 15-year-old dancer has no plans of finding a “summer boyfriend.”

“I am single for the summer. I think the best thing is just being able to focus on spending time with my friends, spending time on my career, and just really focusing on what I love to do,” Lukasiak shared.

The Center Stage: On Pointe star, however, admitted that she is not closing her doors just yet.

“[I’m] having fun. I’m ready to just see what happens this summer.”

Back in May, Lukasiak and Garcia‘s representatives confirmed that the two have decided to end their relationship after 10 months of dating. Even before the split was confirmed, fans of the Dance Moms alum already knew that it was coming. Several of her followers noticed that Lukasiak has stopped posting photos of Garcia on her Instagram and Twitter account. Their reps claimed that the breakup was because of their “hectic work schedules.”

In a statement, issued to Just Jared Jr., Lukasiak and Garcia’s reps insisted that the two remained “close friends” amid the break-up. They also called for the fans to stop bashing each other and instead support Lukasiak and Garcia individually. Contrary to early reports, they also insisted that there was no third party in their relationship.

“They remain close friends and support one another and want the fans to continue to support them individually, as well. There are no hard feelings, there wasn’t any disloyalty, and they ask for the fans to respect their mutual decision and privacy.”

In spite of their official statement, several fans of Chloe Lukasiak and Ricky Garcia, known to their fans as “Clicky,” still believed that the “Forever In Your Mind” singer cheated on Chloe. Their speculation grew when the Dance Moms alum posted a cryptic status on Instagram.

“A lot can change in a year. People change, things go wrong. Stuff happens, but life goes on,” Chloe posted.

According to a Dance Moms Video, a YouTube channel dedicated to the hit Lifetime series, Chloe was the one who decided to end the relationship after Ricky took 16-year-old model Beatrice Vendramin to the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards. This, however, was reportedly not the first time that Ricky and Beatrice were spotted together. The outlet held that Ricky put up a photo of him and Beatrice on Snapchat with the caption, “Love is in the air.”

It did not take long before fans of Chloe Lukasiak lashed at Ricky Garcia’s alleged new girlfriend on social media. They blamed her for the split and wished all kinds of nasty things towards her. Beatrice, however, was not the type to ignore the haters. She quickly defended herself and fired back at a fan for insinuating that she was the reason for the split.

“[W]ere you there with me? do you know me or him? I don’t think so, don’t even try to tell me what to do OR WHAT I DID. ‘Hey, I don’t know you but I know exactly what you did’ shut up,” she wrote.

When Lukasiak found out that her fans have been leaving hateful comments on Vendramin’s Instagram account, the Dance Moms alum reportedly asked everyone to leave the two alone, saying that they both deserved to be happy.

“I ask that everyone please stop the hate. I know that you are only trying to defend me and that means more than anything to me but let’s just let him be happy. We all deserve that!”
