Selena Gomez And Charlie Puth Perform ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’ [Video]
Selena Gomez just wrapped up the U.S. leg of her “Revival Tour” and decided to treat her fans to a little something special during her performance in Anaheim last weekend, when her “best friend” Charlie Puth joined her onstage to wow the crowd with a rendition of their hit single “We Don’t Talk Anymore.”

Gomez, who is now 23 and looked stunning in her slinky black dress by Galvan and her Giuseppe Zanotti heels, introduced Puth after the music had begun to play and fans had already gone crazy. As Selena told her fans how much the song meant to her, her road crew wheeled 24-year-old Charlie, plaid shirt, piano, and all, out onto the stage.
According to People, the moment marked the very first time Gomez and Puth had performed the song live, and fans couldn’t get enough. As the two began to sing and Charlie began to play, Selena worked the stage. Near the end of the performance, Selena took a seat next to Charlie on his piano bench and the two got cozy for a brief moment. Selena laid her head on Charlie’s back and smiled at him before moving off to address the crowd again.
The musical chemistry between the two was undeniably palpable, so much so that the pair can probably expect more rumors concerning their physical chemistry as well. Selena and Charlie were rumored to be dating last year, but Selena insisted in September that the two were just very good friends.
Well, maybe not “insisted” so much, as tweeted, “Before it begins, he is a good one. He is MY FRIEND only lol.”

Apparently, Charlie agreed with her statement.
“I’m good friends with her now, and we talked about wanting to collaborate, and I was finishing the song, and I was like, ‘Wouldn’t it be cool if you sang the second verse?’ And that’s really how it happened. She came over; she recorded it,” Puth stated in January. “I didn’t even have a studio set up: she recorded it in my closet, and it really added a lot to the record. ”
However, the rumors about the pair “hooking up” continue to surface, and they’ll likely go on as long as the two remain in the spotlight, especially since Selena seems to have a proclivity for hooking up with co-stars and fellow performers.
Selena had her first public relationship with Nick Jonas. They were both on Disney Channel at the time and the Jonas Brothers were just taking off. After that, she dated Taylor Lautner, and then, she famously became Justin Bieber’s main squeeze. When her relationship with Bieber dramatically and very publicly ended, she took a few months off before she began dating Ed Sheeran. And then, according to OK! she moved on to Austin Mahone. Now it seems she’s happily single but still dating, though we have no word on who.
“I’ve been dating. I’ve been having the best time,” Selena told Marie Claire in June. “But I don’t trust anybody, so dating can only be fun if I know I’m going to have fun.”
As for her recent duet, “We Don’t Talk Anymore” takes a starring role on Puth’s debut album Nine Track Mind. The song debuted at No. 78 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped out at number 35. He will kick off a major headlining tour in the fall. Gomez is currently working through the Asian and Australian legs of her tour.
If you weren’t in attendance to witness this show first hand, don’t worry, because entertainment news outlets across the nation have been posting videos of the performance.
