‘Vanderpump Rules’: Who’s Coming, Who’s Going, Who’s Getting A Smaller Role
Vanderpump Rules has started filming, but there is a shakeup in the cast as some cast members have proven that they aren’t worth the trouble. Both Andy Cohen and Lisa Vanderpump have grown frustrated with the childish behavior of certain people (outlandish behavior that is worse than most), and adjustments have been made. Although LaLa and James Kennedy bring the drama, have the powers that be decided that they aren’t worth the trouble?
According to the Inquisitr, even in the offseason, Vanderpump Rules LaLa and James were causing problems and acting out in public. On the way home from DJing in Las Vegas, James Kennedy and LaLa Kent got into a drunken fight in the Las Vegas airport that involved lots of screaming. LaLa Kent was allowed to board the flight, but James Kennedy wasn’t because he was deemed too impaired. When news of the airport drunkenness got out, Jax Taylor of Vanderpump Rules tweeted that Lisa Vanderpump was seeking a new DJ and busboy for her restaurants, inferring that James Kennedy had been fired.

Reality Tea broke the news that there would be some shakeups in the dynamics of Vanderpump Rules, with a change in who got screen time, and who would now essentially be a “friend of Vanderpump Rules.” In the offseason, Jax Taylor’s girlfriend, Brittany Cartwright, took a big step forward in the world of Vanderpump Rules, and she was officially hired by Lisa Vanderpump to work in the restaurants. Brittany now works at SUR, and she was trained by Scheana to be a server.
It seems that everyone loves Brittany, but the same can’t be said about LaLa, who is getting far less screen time this season. Lala’s rep says it has nothing to do with a falling out on Vanderpump Rules, but it seems that LaLa might be too busy with other opportunities.
“Lala is a part of season five. To what extent is still unknown due to other opportunities she has decided to take advantage of.”
Reality Tea pondered what other opportunities available to LaLa could cause her to put Vanderpump Rules on the back burner?

TV Deets reported that Vanderpump Rules made LaLa Kent, and possibly, James Kennedy, part-time employees. Brittany Cartwright is now full-time and so is Stassi Schroeder, so somebody had to go. LaLa’s rep would not admit that Bravo and Vamderpump Rules had demoted her, but instead, the rep claimed that she was pursuing other opportunities.

But what really set off the anti-James and anti-LaLa sentiment with the Vanderpump Rules powers that be? According to All Things Real Housewives, LaLa and James committed a cardinal sin and got on the bad side of Andy Cohen, who then told Lisa Vanderpump all about their bad behavior.
Andy Cohen had LaLa Kent and James Kennedy on WWHL, and it was a disaster. WWHL is live television, and LaLa and James gave the censors quite a workout by acting foolish and cursing. The terrible two of Vanderpump Rules had to be called out on the show by Andy Cohen, who gave them a warning.
“Is there any way you could stop cussing? I swear to God. You’re driving me nuts. I’m not kidding. It’s happened like eight times.”

The next day, Andy Cohen opened up about the disaster with LaLa and James of Vanderpump Rules, claiming that he had been so excited to have them on, but it all went wrong. Cohen says he even talked to them before the show, but obviously, it didn’t sink in. Cohen, who is generally pretty chill, was infuriated.
“And then, it was just gross. They didn’t stop cursing, and I was really irritated. The viewers hated it. They were cursing so much, whoever our censor is, they’re very liberal, and every time you say a curse word, they block out the sentence before, the sentence after, so it’s like the whole episode was on mute. And it was very irritating. And it just left a really bad taste in my mouth.”
Afterward, LaLa and James from Vanderpump Rules apologized for the bad behavior, but it was too late. After the live show, Andy Cohen called Lisa Vanderpump of Vanderpump Rules and RHOBH to explain the level of disaster that occurred on WWHL. Lisa Vanderpump wondered what could possibly be so bad.
“I texted her back and said, ‘Let me put it this way. They made Jax [Taylor] and Kristen [Doute] look like Michelle and Barack Obama.'”
Do you think it’s a good idea for Vanderpump Rules to limit the air time of LaLa and James? Do you think the bosses at Vanderpump Rules are trying to teach them a lesson?
