‘Teen Wolf’ Season 6 The End: Fans Share Their Disappointment And Questions
July 21, 2016, will go down in Teen Wolf history as the saddest day for fans. Showrunner Jeff Davis confirmed at Thursday’s Comic Con panel that Teen Wolf Season 6 will officially be the end.

Now, fans have taken to social media to express their sadness and their questions. What does this mean for Season 6? Will there be questions unanswered at the end, or do the writers have time to wrap everything up?
Fans already knew that main protagonist on the show, Scott, was thinking about leaving Beacon Falls once he graduated. It led to many fans wondering what the future would be like and whether there could be a show after he left. Other shows have attempted to continue without the main protagonist — like The Vampire Diaries – and struggled. It looks like Davis isn’t even going to contemplate this attempt. He wants to end the show on a good note.
The good news is that most storylines will be wrapped up. The writers have time to go back through all the unanswered questions and open storylines and find suitable endings to them all.
That doesn’t mean Teen Wolf fans are happy about this. They now know that the season that will start in fall 2016 will be the last for MTV. To make matters worse, the final season will only have 20 episodes. The good news is that this final episode will be the monumental milestone of the show’s 100th episode, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Fans have taken to all social media channels to share their disappointment in the decision. They would like to see Teen Wolf continue, saying that they’ve grown up with the show. Some fans were also disappointed that their favorite actors weren’t able to attend San Diego Comic Con, as it will now be the final chance as part of the Teen Wolf cast.
It’s not just fans who have been disappointed with the decision. The actors of the show have shared how sad they are to be leaving roles that they love. The Teen Wolf cast is a family, and many say that this is the best job they’ve ever had. They have promised to continue being a family. This is something that cast members from many cancelled shows find, especially those that run for so long. Members of One Tree Hill and Charmed continue to see each other even though they are not on the small screen together.

Not everyone is disappointed in the news. There are some non-Teen Wolf fans out there who are happy to see something else come to MTV. Others who watched the show for some time have said that the show lost its momentum with Season 5 and that they had started to lose interest. Knowing that this is the last season will mean they’ll tune in to see how it ends. Others have also said that they now know they will be able to catch up after falling behind, with so many top TV shows on at the moment.
All fans now want is a fitting ending for Teen Wolf Season 6. They want to see storylines finished and no open questions. Does that mean they want the big happy ending? While many would likely want to see their favorite ships together (like Stydia), they want something that feels fulfilled and true to the show. If that means all the characters go their separate ways, then so be it.
