San Diego Comic-Con 2016 Schedule For Friday, July 22: Marvel, ‘The Walking Dead’, Hasbro, More
Monday is not quite in the books at the San Diego Comic-Con 2016, but Friday will be here before anyone even realizes it. It’s going to be a huge day as it is every single year, and the panels are set and in place. It’s going to include some from Marvel, Hasbro, and plenty from AMC including Preacher and The Walking Dead. Here is the full schedule for Friday and everything that needs to be known for the true start to the weekend.
Everyone is mostly waiting to see what will take place in Hall H where the biggest of news comes from each year, but Screen Crush states that a downward trend is forming. Unfortunately, there were just 15 movie presentations in Hall H this year (16 in 2015), but hopefully, that is not something that will continue.
On Friday, three of the biggest panels to check out will take place in Hall H, but two of them are about TV shows and the other is focused on a writer/director. If you’re present at Comic-Con, try to make your way into the hall, but if not, pay close attention to social media for info coming from these three.AMC’s The Walking Dead – Hall H
- 1 p.m. PST / 4 p.m. ET
- Preceded by Fear the Walking Dead at 12 p.m.
Game of Thrones Panel and Q&A – Hall H
- 2:15 p.m. PST / 5:15 p.m. ET
Dark Horse: Conversation with Joss Whedon – Hall H
- 3:45 p.m. PST / 6:45 p.m. ET
That won’t be nearly all of the big things happening at the San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, though. Plenty of other great panels are going to bring about huge stars while also revealing and teasing some information on upcoming seasons and releases.
Here are some others taking place on Friday along with their times (Pacific time) and locations.
“Marvel: Civil War II” – 10 a.m. in Room 6DE

There is so much more going on as well, and not just TV shows and movies. The SDCC is full of every single thing that is hot in the world of everything going on right now and that includes video games and toys as well.

So far, there have not been a lot of names revealed for the new game, but some of the expected are there and that includes Batman, Aquaman, The Flash, and Batman. Gorilla Grodd, Supergirl, and Atrocitus are new to the roster and it is expected that members of the Suicide Squad or DC’s Legends of Tomorrow are those that could be announced on Friday.
Hasbro will also give fans a great look at the latest action figures and other toys coming from their Star Wars line. Coming Soon reports that there could be some surprises and a “special product reveal” at 12 p.m. in Room 7AB.
Make sure to check out the full schedule from the official website for the San Diego Comic-Con 2016 so you can pay attention to even more. Yes, it’s hard to keep up with everything, but at least this way, you can try to play catch up after it is all done.
Friday is just a small portion of the San Diego Comic-Con 2016, but it is still so big because of everything that it will bring to the table. Panels for The Walking Dead, Marvel, Hasbro, and others will pack the halls and lead the way for the rest of this year and into the next one so that is why schedules are necessary so you don’t miss a single thing.
