Is Gigi Hadid Picking Sides In The Feud Between Taylor Swift And Kendall Jenner?

Gigi Hadid may be stuck in the middle of a nasty feud between her close friends, Kendall Jenner and Taylor Swift.

Days ago, Kendall Jenner’s older half-sister, Kim Kardashian, exposed Swift in a shocking video, which featured the singer talking to Kanye West about his song, “Famous.” Shortly after the clip was released, Jenner made it clear that she was sticking by her family when she favorited a couple of messages on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Jenner’s best friend, Gigi Hadid, who remains a close friend of Swift, has stayed silent when it comes to taking sides. That said, a new report claims Jenner and Swift are putting the pressure on Gigi Hadid to pick a team.

“This is really terrible for Gigi Hadid, because she loves Taylor Swift and Kendall Jenner, and doesn’t want to have to choose. Kendall and Taylor both want her to pick sides but so far the only thing she’s doing is avoiding the whole thing and focusing on work,” the source told Hollywood Life on July 20. “This is a nightmare for her; it could end up ruining her friendships with both of them.”

Prior to the released tape of Swift, Gigi Hadid’s friends were said to be at odds after Jenner was left out of Swift’s massive 4th of July party in Malibu, California.

“Kendall would not have gone to Taylor’s party, even if she had been invited — family always comes first and Kanye is her family. But she didn’t have to make any big decision because she was not invited,” a source told Hollywood Life earlier this month. “There’s still awkwardness because of Harry [Styles], so she was never on the list. Kendall doesn’t care at all that she wasn’t invited. She found a deal for her to get paid (by Airbnb) to stay in a Malibu beach house, so she was more than happy. She’d rather make money than go to a party at Taylor’s anyway.”

Days later, a second Hollywood Life source claimed Kendall Jenner was hurt by Gigi Hadid’s decision to spend time with Swift on the 4th of July.

“The hard part was that two of her best friends went, it hurt that they picked Taylor’s party over hanging with her in Malibu. But she isn’t going to make a big deal about it, she’s not into drama. Plus she had Jordan with her and lots of other fiends, she was set,” the source explained.

Throughout the singer’s party, Gigi Hadid was seen mingling with tons of other celebrities, including Blake Lively, Cara Delevingne, Ruby Rose, Ryan Reynolds, and Tom Hiddleston. Meanwhile, Jenner was spending time with her rumored boyfriend, Jordan Clarkson, and Scott Disick, the ex-boyfriend of her oldest half-sister, Kourtney Kardashian.

Although Gigi Hadid has remained quiet about her friend’s alleged feud, she and Jenner haven’t been seen together in a while, and Hadid appears to be spending the majority of her time in New York City with her boyfriend, Zayn Malik, as opposed to Los Angeles, where Jenner recently purchased a new home.

Throughout the last couple of weeks, Gigi Hadid has been photographed quite frequently in the Big Apple, where she’s participated in a number of photoshoots, including a bus-top pictorial for Maybelline and another shoot for Tommy Hilfiger. Gigi Hadid has also made plenty of time for her love life and was seen enjoying a date night with Malik earlier this week.
