‘Big Brother 18’ Battle Back Competition: Rumors About How Evicted ‘BB18’ Houseguest Will Return
The Big Brother 18 Battle Back competition has nearly arrived. The BB18 house still doesn’t know that an evicted houseguest is going to get a shot at returning to the game, so it is going to come as a shock when host Julie Chen lets them know what’s about to happen. A report from CBS was released to give fans an explanation of how the process is going to work. What it doesn’t do, though, is actually state when the Big Brother 18 Battle Back competition will officially take place.
As advertised, CBS will air a special episode of BB18 on Friday, July 22, at 8 p.m. PT/ET. It’s highly likely that this will all get taped on Thursday night (July 21), though, so that the winner can play in the latest Head of Household competition. Producers of the show have been very secretive about this specific information, but it is widely known that the CBS live feeds are going to get taken down for around 24 hours as this all plays out.
The format of the Big Brother 18 Battle Back competition will be done in rounds, with the houseguests competing in the order that they were evicted from the BB18 house. The winner of each round advances, with the winner of the final round getting the opportunity to re-enter the game. It means that the longer each houseguest remained in the game originally, the bigger of an advantage they will have in the Battle Back competition.

In the first round of the competition, Glenn Garcia (evicted first) will go up against Jozea Flores. The winner in that round advances to play against Victor Arroyo. The winner of the second-round match then faces off against Bronte D’Acquisto. Finally, the winner of the third-round match goes up against the evicted houseguest from July 21. That could be Tiffany Rousso, Natalie Negrotti, or Da’Vonne Rogers, as they are the Week 4 nominees for eviction.
This is where things might get interesting, as there are a lot of Big Brother 18 rumors in regard to how everything will play out. It includes some hints from the CBS Big Brother Twitter page, where producers are stating that a “game-changing element” will be revealed on Friday morning (July 22). It is unclear what this will entail, but it could have something to do with the live feeds getting turned off. Will the returning houseguest have a special power? Are teams going to be broken up? Are siblings going to join the game?

There is no shortage of Big Brother 18 rumors in regard to what will happen next on the show, but there is certainly a shortage of specific information coming from producers. What is known, is that when the live feeds get turned back on late Friday, there will again be 12 houseguests competing for the $500,000 prize. Fan site HamsterWatch posted an idea about the Battle Back competition being the dice challenge that has been used several times in past seasons of the show. It’s a challenge that the houseguests have talked a lot about on the live feeds as well.
now I really really hope Battle Back is the dice comp – Tiffany wins easily, and Paulie doesn’t get to play it.. win-win

Evicted houseguests have returned to the game during past seasons, but never with a special episode dedicated to the competition. That should make this Big Brother 18 Battle Back competition a bit more exciting, especially for fans who are rooting for one of the players that is already out of the game.
