Stacy Keibler Tries On Engagement Rings Without George Clooney

Stacy Keibler might be trying to send a message to the notoriously marriage shy George Clooney, as she was spotted this week trying on engagement rings.

Keibler was seen out an about at New York Fashion week, and capped off her trip to the Big Apple by visiting Jacob & Co.’s (a.k.a. Jacob the Jeweler), Us Weekly reported.

As the report stated:

The 33-year-old looked stunning in a a Marchesa cacoon shift dress with embroidered detail and ostrich feather sleeve as she checked out wares at the bash, which was also attended by Kim Kardashian and Carlo Gugino. The actress, model and former wrestler tried out watches with Arabo — and then proceeded to try out one diamond engagement ring after another!

The engagement ring ploy appeared to be all in jest, USA Today noted. Stacy Keibler grinned for cameras as she slipped on a giant yellow rock while at the launch of Jacob & Co.’s new Palladium line.

Stacy Keibler’s trip to New York actually garnered some headlines when she was seen alone rather than with boyfriend George Clooney. She was seen taking in the Marches fashion show alongside other celebrities like Tyra Banks, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West and Vogue‘s Anna Wintour.

Clooney and Keibler had been spending a lot of time this summer at his palatial getaway in Lake Como, Italy. But it hasn’t been all happy for the couple, at least not in the tabloids. The pair has been beset with rumors of their break-up, prompting Clooney to speak out through his representative, E! News reported.

“A story published by a London tabloid, The Sun, concerning George Clooney and Stacy Keibler is not true. Total fabrication designed to sell newspapers,” a rep for Clooney told Us Weekly in a statement.
