Jim Carrey Angry At Public Release Of Ex-Girlfriend Cathriona White’s Coroner’s Report
Jim Carrey is outraged that details about his ex-girlfriend’s private life have been unveiled to the public after her suicide, according to the Irish Examiner. The 54-year-old actor said it’s a “shame” that a coroner’s report into the suicide of Cathriona White has been published to the public.
Jim Carrey released a statement in which he expressed his outrage over the publication of details about the private life of his late ex-girlfriend, who died of an overdose of prescription drugs at her home in Los Angeles last September.
The Los Angeles county coroner’s office took it upon itself to publish the report detailing White’s death last week, but Jim Carrey is not happy about it. In the report, it’s indicated that White, who died at the age of 30, left a note for the actor, in which she said she was “just not for this world.”

But shortly after the report was published by the LA county coroner’s office, Jim Carrey released a statement in which he revealed the sad truth about being a celebrity in Hollywood and struggling with the media exposure.
“When I came to Hollywood to make it as a comedian, I soon learned that the details of my private life would be handed out to the media like free dinner vouchers.”
Jim Carrey also said that people he loves most in this world ended up being on the same “menu,” adding that it’s a “shame.” The comedian signed his statement as “regrettably, Jim Carrey.”
But the LA county coroner’s office explained its decision by saying California law requires them to publish postmortem reports for the public record. They also added that Jim Carrey’s lawyers were aware of the details that were made public.
Several days after White’s death in October, Jim Carrey was a pallbearer at her funeral. The makeup artist was buried in the village of Cappawhite beside her late father.

It was revealed that the comedian called it quits with White a week before she was found dead at her Los Angeles home. It was also revealed that there was a note, in which she said she had spent three days “in disbelief that you’re not here.” She also wrote that she could go on broken-hearted after the break-up with Jim Carrey in an attempt to “put the pieces back.”
“I could, I just don’t have the will this time. I’m sorry you felt I wasn’t there for you. I tried to give you my best part.”
In her second note, which was also addressed to Jim Carrey, White asked the comedian’s people to sell her things and give that money to her family. She also noted that she doesn’t know about the burial process, but since Jim is her “family,” whatever he chooses “will be fine.”
White finished her note by asking forgiveness from Jim Carrey and adding that she is “just not for this world.” According to the coroner’s ruling, the cause of death was “multiple drug effects” after prescription drugs were found in her system.
White’s friends became worried when she wrote a cryptic final tweet on Twitter just four days before she was found dead, as reported by News Australia.

The day before her final tweet, Jim Carrey’s former girlfriend had posted what would be her last Instagram photo.

According to the coroner’s report, White was found dead in bed in her red T-shirt and black underwear.
Jim Carrey’s ex-girlfriend was also holding a mobile phone in her hand when her body was discovered. According to investigators, there were no other injuries visible on her body. However, there were early signs of decomposition, which means she may have been dead for several days before her body was discovered.
