Jaden Smith and Sarah Snyder have been a solid couple for months now, despite the fact that many people thought that the young love was a bit inappropriate given that Jaden was a minor and Sarah a 20-something model with a checkered past, not to mention the social media blasts regarding Sarah Snyder’s alleged drug use (she was caught on film sniffing a white powder identified in the video as “cocaine,” as well as shown in a photograph with a mouth full of white pills). Despite it all, and despite rumors that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith don’t approve of the relationship, Jaden and Sarah Snyder have managed to stay strong.

For all intents and purposes, Jaden and Sarah were expected to be in a better situation than ever following his 18th birthday on July 8. After all, now they’re both adults.

Unfortunately, when Jaden was partying it up in London for his 18th birthday bash, he was spotted with an extremely attractive lady who was definitely not the extremely attractive Sarah Snyder.

As Mobile & Apps reports, Jaden Smith and Sarah Snyder were not seen together while Jaden was living up his new adulthood in London. Rather, Jaden was seen by London media heading back to his posh hotel room with a “leggy brunette companion.” The mystery lady accompanying Jaden Smith was wearing a very revealing little black dress and a pair of sky-high black stiletto pumps.

Jaden was seen out celebrating his birthday late Thursday night with his 15-year-old sister Willow and a group of friends. The Smith kids and their entourage had a late dinner at A-list magnet eatery Sketch. Hours later, in the wee hours of Friday, Jaden Smith and the group (including the attractive brunette and sans Sarah) made their way back to his hotel, reports Daily Mail.

While Jaden Smith and the mystery lady weren’t caught snuggling or engaging in risqué PDA, soon after they were spotted and photographed together, social media went into a bit of a frenzy speculating about what could be going on.

Especially since Sarah Snyder was nowhere in sight.

Jaden, his little sister, and their friends spent his birthday evening largely glued to their smartphones and posting detailed descriptions of their activities on various social media accounts. Jaden Smith used the special day to take to Twitter to tout his much-anticipated and long-awaited first album. Jaden even dropped a new song, which many hope to be the first single from the album.

Jaden’s birthday song, “LABOR V2” touches on his teen angst and transition to adulthood. It also addresses the recent slew of police shootings involving African-American suspects.

Even though he spent his birthday night without girlfriend Sarah Snyder (and being photographed next to a mysterious, leggy brunette), Jaden and Sarah were seen dining together as a couple on the Monday after his birthday, eating sushi in Malibu.

Jaden Smith and Sarah Snyder have been an item since Kanye’s New York Fashion Week event last September. Sarah is an aspiring model, but she’s suffered some career setbacks due to a shady past. She was jailed on theft charges after being accused of stealing a designer purse from a friend’s apartment, but the charges levied against her were ultimately dropped. It has been rumored that many labels and fashion houses have been wary of working with her as a result.

Despite the negative press she’s received, and despite public criticism of her relationship with the years-younger Jaden, Sarah has become a social media darling. Currently, she has over 700,000 Instagram followers, many of whom tune in to follow the relationship drama of Sarah Snyder and Jaden Smith.
