Justin Bieber And Chantel Jeffries Reunite For Romantic Date Night: She Inspired ‘Love Yourself’
Justin Bieber has succeeded in hiding a renewed romance for months, according to a new report. Although he was seen with casual girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian during the Fourth of July holiday weekend, Justin seemed to be avoiding real romance after his short series of dates with Nicola Peltz and longer-term romance with Hailey Baldwin fizzled. Would anyone ever replace Selena Gomez in Bieber’s life?
The 22-year-old musical superstar’s replacement for Selena just may be Chantel Jeffries. An insider told E News that Bieber and his former gal pal Chantel have secretly been spending time together for months.
“Chantel and Bieber have been hanging out for the past few months,” revealed the insider. “Last night Chantel went to see Bieber in concert. Bieber got [her] tickets.”
Jeffries, who is a model, showed her pride in her boyfriend, cheering for him throughout his performance as she watched from the audience. But although she spent time watching him in a very public place, Chantel enjoyed a very private experience for her date.
Their romantic date night took place in a theater, which Justin rented out. With the AMC Theaters in Times Square all to themselves, the couple viewed The Secret Life of Pets together.
Bieber went for a casual look, sporting black sweatpants and a white sweatshirt, complete with running shoes ideal for a getaway from the paparazzi. His model girlfriend chose to show off her chic style in a revealing lace-up top and jean shorts, topped off with boots.
But as to the relationship has progressed to a commitment to date only each other, the insider clarified the status of their romance.
“Bieber likes Chantel. He thinks she is a great girl.”
As for how Jeffries feels about Justin, the source also shared that she is ready to agree to be exclusive with the pop star, but only if he is prepared to do so as well.
“Chantel would really date Bieber exclusively if he was ready,” explained the insider.
The couple has a long history together, sharing PDA photos. But when Justin was arrested for a DUI in 2014, Jeffries was riding shotgun in his rented Lamborghini. That resulted in a backlash of bad publicity for Chantel and false allegations.
“For the record, I have not been arrested five times as has been stated in the media, nor am I guilty of physically assaulting anyone, in any way shape or form,” retorted Chantel. “I want people in general, and the media in particular, to consider the impact their disparaging comments have on the individual; especially when their comments are inaccurate.”
Now, however, although she suffered from the publicity in past, the insider is revealing that Bieber and Jeffries have succeeded in holding onto their friendship.
“They have been good friends for a while.”
Putting the negative experience she had with the spotlight shining on Justin, Chantel seems to be giving the pop star a second chance. The significance of their relationship is revealed in Justin’s song, “Love Yourself,” according to the Daily Mail.
Fans had thought initially that “Love Yourself” was inspired by Selena. However, the lyrics such as “all the clubs you get in using my name” revealed that Bieber had penned the hit song about someone who did not have his fame, and it’s been reported that his romance with Chantel resulted in the song.
So is it more serious the second time around for Justin and Jeffries? A source told Hollywood Life that their private date went beyond viewing a movie together and included a “sleepover.”
“[Chantel and Justin] like each other, and are hooking up, and not taking it any more serious than that,” clarified the source. “They have fun with each other, they get each other, and they like hooking up with each other. But they aren’t exclusive at all.”
The “sleepover” took place at Justin’s hotel, where Jeffries stayed after his concert in Madison Square Garden.
