Diane Kruger And Joshua Jackson Split After 10 Years Of Dating
After months of speculation, it’s been confirmed that Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson have split after 10 years of dating. The couple, who has lived in Paris, Vancouver, and New York over the years, hasn’t been photographed since February.
It was then that they made their last public appearance together on the red carpet. While Jackson has been seen on Kruger’s arm supporting her work, it was Kruger’s turn to support the fellow actor at the opening night of his off-Broadway play Smart People.

Kruger and Jackson’s publicists confirmed the split to People magazine. “Diane Kruger and Josh Jackson have decided to separate and remain friends.”
That said, the news of their split doesn’t come as a huge shock to anyone who has been paying attention to the couple. Josh and Diane, who were often seen strolling hand in hand at farmer’s markets and displaying their best fashion choices on the red carpet, had gone radio silent, which is unusual for the couple.

There were also rumors that Diane Kruger had cheated on Joshua Jackson with Sky co-star Norman Reedus. Back in December, Radar Online reported that Kruger was seen “wildly making out” with Reedus while at a bar in New York City. A witness says of the scene, “They were laughing and having fun and then she just literally got out of her chair and straddled him and we were all like, ‘what the hell.’ They were all over each other. She was a lot more aggressive than him.”
Jackson’s estranged father John Carter was optimistic about the pair and told Radar Online, “They’re probably just laying low since she was seen with some guy in that pub.I have not heard any more about that at all. I would think since they’re very private, they’d go to the ground with publicity.”
The couple briefly hushed those rumors when they took to the red carpet for Jackson’s opening play, but it wasn’t long after that rumors cropped up again of trouble in paradise. At the time, neither Jackson nor Kruger’s rep commented on it. While the two kept mum on whether or not they decided to separate, Diane Kruger’s Instagram seemed to be a source to air out her relationship frustrations.
In recent months, Kruger has posted many cryptic images to her Instagram account, which has kept the public guessing on whether or not she and Jackson called it quits. Back in February, the Inquisitr noted the changing tone in her posts.
One image was a very telling quote:
“Men aren’t stupid, and you don’t need a complicated set of rules to find a good one who loves you… Here’s the only rule you need: If a man loves you, he will do anything he can to keep you around. Anything.”
Another post came in May that said, “Stop romanticizing the people who hurt you.”
While Kruger gave no hints to Instagram commenters that these were about boyfriend Joshua Jackson, it was obvious to some that something was up. On the heels of the official announcement, Kruger posted another Instagram post, but this time around it wasn’t cryptic.
It was a quote from rock legend Jimi Hendrix.
“..the story of life is quicker than the wink of an eye. The story of love is hello and good-bye until we meet again.”
The two started dating in 2006 after Kruger split from her husband, director Guillaume Canet. Canet has been in a relationship with French actress Marion Cotillard for almost nine years. Prior to romancing Kruger, Jackson dated Rosario Dawson, and Dawson’s Creek co-star Katie Holmes.
