Jacqueline Laurita On Teresa Giudice’s Walk-Off During Interview With Melissa Gorga
Jacqueline Laurita appeared on Andy Cohen’s talk show Watch What Happens Live on Sunday night after the airing of the latest Real Housewives of New Jersey episode. Not surprisingly, given that Jacqueline’s relationship with former friend Teresa Giudice is a major story line for the current season, Jacqueline was asked a lot of questions concerning Teresa.
During the after-show portion of the talk show, Jacqueline was even asked if she thought Teresa has any taken any real responsibility for the crime that landed her in prison. Jacqueline was also asked for her thoughts on Teresa’s walk-off from the interview with Access Hollywood that she did with co-star and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga.

A viewer asked Jacqueline if she thinks Teresa, who in October 2014 was sentenced to 15 months in prison for fraud charges, will ever take any real responsibility for the crimes that sent her to prison. The viewer pointed out that when Andy, in a previous interview, asked Teresa what she actually did wrong, she gave a response that kind of glossed over what she actually did. The viewer also pointed out that Teresa, in her memoir Turning the Tables, glosses over the crime.
It seems that Jacqueline doesn’t think that Teresa is purposefully not taking any responsibility for the crimes. Instead, Teresa may not be taking any real responsibility simply because she still doesn’t understand what she did wrong. Jacqueline said that she doesn’t think that Teresa still understands what really happened.
“I don’t think she still fully understands it so it’s hard for her to…It’s hard for me to say but it’s hard for her to take accountability when she doesn’t really, I don’t think she understands, um, but…I don’t know. I don’t know how to answer that.”
Another viewer then asked what Jacqueline Laurita what she thought of the recent interview that Teresa Giudice did with Melissa Gorga for Access Hollywood. The interview abruptly ended when Teresa, angered by a question regarding her husband, Joe Giudice, walked off the set.
Jacqueline said that she while she thought that Teresa could have just given a simple answer, she also understands why Teresa’s tired of talking about Joe’s possible deportation.
“Well the interview, I mean, I have mixed feelings about it because I think it was a question that she’s been asked many times and she’s answered many times so I’m not sure what set her off, maybe because of what Heather [The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Heather Dubrow] said, she didn’t want to talk about accountability or remorse, but um, I also didn’t like the way they high-fived afterwards. I thought that was a little bit [nervous face]…I think she could’ve just answered it, just a ‘I don’t know.’ But I can understand she’s probably hearing it a lot and she’s just done.”

Last week, Teresa and Melissa did a live interview, from a different location, with Access Hollywood’s Kit Hoover and guest host Dave Karger. Dave asked Teresa about the possibility of Joe being deported to Italy. Joe, currently in prison for fraud, is not an American citizen and so faces the possibility of deportation after he finishes serving his prison sentence for the federal fraud charges.
“Do you worry that it’s the end of your family unit as you know it because there is all this talk that Joe could be deported since he’s an Italian citizen. Do you think about that?”
Teresa was taken aback by the question. She immediately made it clear that she did not want to talk about it.
“Next question, please. I don’t think that’s something you should be asking.”
When Kit pressed on with the subject, Teresa replied that she found the question “really rude.” Perplexed, Kit pointed out that it was a relevant question.
“OK, well, it is a fact, and we’re probably going to see it on the show, so I don’t think that’s a rude question.”
Kit then tried to bring up what Heather Dubrow said in her podcast about Teresa but Teresa announced that she was going to leave.
“No, you’re not going to see it on the show. As a matter of fact, I’m going to leave.”
After Teresa unclipped her microphone and walked off, Melissa Gorga, who had stayed silent the entire time, eventually followed her.
Kit defended herself and Dave by explaining how it was a totally fair question for them to ask, given that Teresa’s on a reality show that showcases her life. Kit asked to see whether both Teresa and Melissa were gone. When the screen showed that they were both gone, Kit started laughing and said that at least it shows that Melissa and Teresa really are friends how. Kit then told Dave that she’s never had a walk-off before and asked for a high-five.
On the latest episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa reached out to her former friend Jacqueline with a phone call on New Year’s Eve. Teresa, who had already sent Jacqueline a short note when she was still in prison, wished Jacqueline a happy new year. Jacqueline said that she’s happy Teresa’s back home with her family. Once they got off the phone, Jacqueline admitted that she’s not sure what Teresa wants from her now. A preview for next week’s episode shows that Teresa and Jacqueline will finally meet face-to-face.

Yet, as the trailer for the season shows, viewers will see Teresa Giudice’s renewed friendship with Jacqueline Laurita go down the drain yet again. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Jacqueline, on social media after their falling out, even accused Teresa of using the “R” word. While Jacqueline, whose youngest son has autism, didn’t elaborate, some viewers speculated that Teresa used the word “retard.”
