Mariah Carey, James Packer Having A Baby After Summer Wedding: Pregnant At 46?
Mariah Carey and James Packer want to start a family following the summer wedding, it has been alleged.
The “We Belong Together” hitmaker and her billionaire soon-to-be husband have been talking about their future a lot as of late, and according to Life & Style, both Mariah and James have decided that having a child will be their next step after their lavish wedding is over and done with.
A source for the outlet alleges that Packer and Carey will be together for a lifetime. The Australian businessman is smitten by Mariah and couldn’t see himself being with anyone else now that he’s finally with the love of his life.

If they are going to get married, James and Mariah have settled with the idea that within months after tying the knot, they will have children of their own, consequently meaning that Carey’s twins, Moroccan and Monroe, will become brother and sister to another sibling.
“They both love the idea of having a child of their own together,” the source reveals. With that said, however, Mariah has already ruled out the idea of carrying the baby herself — if she’s going to have more children, it’ll be through a surrogate or adoption.
The outlet claims that Mariah Carey “doesn’t want to wreck her new figure,” but in interviews following the birth of her twins, Mariah revealed that her pregnancy experience was uncomfortable and dangerous to the point where doctors warned her of facing complications, ultimately leaving her no choice but to undergo an emergency Cesarean section.
To say that her experience as a pregnant woman with twins was horrifying would be an understatement for the singer.

On top of that, Carey is currently headlining her very own Las Vegas residency, followed with plans to return to the recording studio and work on her next studio album. Mariah knows that she has taken on more projects than she can handle, so the idea of finding out she’s pregnant at this time couldn’t come at a worse time.
James Packer, however, is completely fine with the idea of having a baby through a surrogate. The source concludes by stressing that the Australian billionaire and his soon-to-be wife just want to be a family and settle down together.
As for the couple’s wedding, Mariah told Entertainment Tonight on June 8 that she’s preparing for her big day with a clean-cut diet. “I’ve been pretty consistent with this bleak diet that I am on,” the “Always Be My Baby” songstress gushed.
“You know, it was the whole situation that made me want to try and be better for all,” and then she added, “And then we do have to get fittings and dresses!”

News of Mariah Carey’s plans to start a family with James Packer comes just weeks after the E! network revealed the first trailer for the singer’s forthcoming reality show, Mariah’s World, premiering later this year.
The show will reportedly see Mariah juggle being a mother of two as she gears up for her Las Vegas residency and plans her wedding to Packer, all while she’s on her Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour in Europe.
