‘Once Upon A Time’ Season 6: Lana Parrilla Teaser Clip — Regina’s New Weapon Is [Spoiler]

Lana Parrilla recently celebrated her 39th birthday. In a video clip, the Once Upon a Time actress gave a little hint on what is to come for Regina Mills. It turns out she has been training hard to use a new weapon. Find out what it is and what else the OUAT actress had to reveal about Season 6.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Parilla is going to play dual roles in Season 6 of Once Upon a Time. Lana has always portrayed both Regina and the Evil Queen, but this time, they are actually going to be two separate individuals. As iDigitalTimes noted, the negative alter ego has declared war, and fans have every right to be concerned about Storybrooke.

On Lana Parrilla’s 39th birthday, the actress had a special gift for viewers. On her official Facebook page, the actress uploaded a video revealing a Season 6 spoiler for OUAT. What can fans expect? For one, Regina will be learning a new skill and fighting with a new weapon.

It turns out Parrilla has been busy learning how to fight with a sword. It was not made clear at first which character would be sword fighting, but it was soon revealed it was Regina. Will Regina use a sword on the Evil Queen, or is that reserved for someone else, like Hyde? There is a clue in the video, which can be viewed below.

“I’m a little sweaty because I am learning how to sword fight,” Lana Parrilla says in the video clip with a smile on her face. “Why? Because Regina is going to sword fight!”

Lana then gives fans a special look into what she has learned from her trainers. During the sword fight training, Regina says “dialogue, dialogue, dialogue” a few times, and then she gives someone the knee. This makes it seem it might be a man she is fighting, not a woman. Also, at one point, Regina falls down as part of the storyline but gets back up to resume fighting. However, at the end, the Once Upon a Time actress rolls on the ground and eventually gets the sword thrown out of her hands. Does this mean that she loses the fight? Fans certainly hope not because that would put her life in danger.

Other Once Upon a Time Season 6 spoilers include Morpheus being cast. Giles Matthey (24) has been selected to play the part, according to TV Line. The website reported that Morpheus will be quick-witted and insightful. He will also be able to read people well and can hide his own agenda. It was teased that he would be part of Rumple and Belle’s upcoming adventure. As OUAT fans know, Emilie de Ravin’s character is in a deep sleep. Rumple (Robert Carlyle) made a deal with Mr. Hyde, but will that deal backfire? In addition to Morpheus being part of Belle’s dreams, he will also have some scenes with Rumple, so that should be interesting.

Previously, executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis teased to Entertainment Weekly that Regina would be literally pulled apart from the inside. However, that isn’t all. Similar things will also happen with the other Storybrooke residents, but Regina’s storyline will be the most extreme.

In a separate report from TV Line, Lana Parrilla teased that Regina is starting to believe in karma. She believes that her two loves being taken from her are a result of the bad thing she has done.

“She’s also getting to a place where she’s starting to believe in karma, and a lot of this I think is karmic for her,” Parrilla told TVLine about Regina Mills. “She’s done so many terrible things in her life — she’s slaughtered villages and hurt so many people — that these two loves [including Daniel] have been taken away from her.”
