There is a lot to be said for the hometown dates in every single season of The Bachelorette , and that can also be said for the men pining for JoJo Fletcher. She has just four men left out of the original 26 that started out the quest, and it’s time to learn where they came from. Some confusion has set in, though, from the spoilers that have been released, and it leads to a truly shocking elimination at the end of Monday night’s episode.
Please let it be known that there are possible spoilers ahead for the current season of The Bachelorette in the summer of 2016. If you don’t want to know them, stop reading now.
Only four men are left after last week’s double elimination, which sent home James Taylor and Alex Woytkiw. Of course, that came just one episode after JoJo needed an extra rose to keep both men around because she couldn’t figure out who to send home.
Now, it’s down to just the final four men.

The first hometown date was filmed with Chase McNary in Castle Rock, Colorado, and not much is known about this one at all. ABC has done a decent job of keeping some things secret this year, and not everything ended up being spoiled.
For the second hometown date, JoJo heads to St. Augustine, Florida with Robby Hayes, and Reality Steve apparently spoiled things very early on. That being said, he states that it caused ABC to switch things up and change what the couple did for their time out and about.
They will end up hanging out in town and then going out on a boat on the water for a romantic time together.
Watchful eyes were on JoJo during this time of filming as she was caught in an airport and heading over to Burnet, Texas, for a hometown date with Luke Pell.

Here is where things begin to get a little strange, but there will be more on that later. Us Magazine reported a few weeks ago that the sexual chemistry between JoJo and Luke was “crazy,” and that it would be hard for him to ever be sent home alone.
For the final hometown date, JoJo heads to Chico, California, to find out what it’s like to go back to school with Jordan Rodgers. He takes her Pleasant Valley High School for a tour and to give her a taste of his old-school glory days.

Now, it’s time for the confusion and shocking part of Monday night’s episode of The Bachelorette , and that is the elimination.
Reality Steve originally reported that Chase McNary as going to be sent packing after the hometown dates , but that changed. After a week or so of having his spoilers posted, it was changed to Luke Pell being eliminated by JoJo and that is where people will be confused.
Fans won’t necessarily understand this, but some reports state that Luke actually is offered a rose from JoJo, but turns it down. If that is true, then that is the reason Chase is kept around another week since Luke apparently knew that his fair lady had her heart set on Jordan Rodgers.

If that does end up being the case, ABC doesn’t seem ready to give up on Luke just yet. He is said to be extremely popular with the fans and producers love his look and charisma. As previously reported by Inquisitr , he may even be in line for the lead on the next season of The Bachelor .
This could set the fan base of The Bachelorette on its end and really cause chaos come Monday evening.
Please remember that this is the order of the hometown dates as they were filmed, but ABC could always switch things up in the editing process. They may not necessarily take place in this order, so be prepared for whatever may be shown in the episode.
Luke Pell being eliminated after the hometown dates is one that no-one really saw coming, and it’s going to upset a lot of fans. JoJo Fletcher sending home a man that she had such great chemistry with is just shocking and it’s kind of hard to believe. That is the way things must go on The Bachelorette sometimes, though, and not every single guy that makes it on the show can get the girl so someone always has to go home.
