Just when followers of the Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris post-breakup drama thought that they’d heard it all, new bombshell accusations are emerging. Team Calvin has come up with some shocking claims against Taylor, while the singer’s camp is firing back with its own bombshells , according to sources cited by Page Six .
As for Swift’s new boyfriend, Tom Hiddleston? He’s trying not to get hit by the crossfire and attempting to deny rumors that his romance with Taylor is all for publicity. But while Tom insists that his highly-publicized hookup with Swift was not done for fame, an insider close to Calvin revealed Harris believes every step she makes is done according to a carefully laid-out plan.
“[Calvin] feels like everything [Taylor’s] camp does is so orchestrated. She has a pattern [of creating relationships]. He didn’t realize he was falling into her camp’s plan.”
At this point in his life, freed from his romantic relationship with Swift, Harris feels that he is “better despite the initial hurt,” added the insider.
Team Taylor has its own set of bombshell claims, however, revealing that she secretly collaborated on Calvin’s song for Rihanna, “This Is What You Came For.” Why the delay in sharing that knowledge with the world? No one knew because Swift allegedly helped by using a pseudonym, “Nils Sjöberg.”
Harris fired back at Swift, turning to Twitter to slam his former girlfriend and her team for making him look bad by claiming he had sought to take total credit for the collaboration. He even managed to get in a dig at Hiddleston by implying that if she is content with her new boyfriend, she should focus on Tom rather than ripping her ex.
“Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though,” tweeted Calvin. “I figure if you’re happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down.”
It doesn’t end there, however, with a Team Swift insider blaming Calvin for creating more drama.
“Just because someone announces a breakup doesn’t mean it happened that day. They broke up a while ago,” pointed out the insider from Taylor’s team. “She’s moved on and is enjoying her life. She’s on vacation in Australia… All of this Twitter ranting is his MO. He did the same thing to Rita Ora when they broke up.”
The Sydney Morning Herald points out that Swift has a history of carefully controlling her image , and that control in the past has even extended to her ex-boyfriends. That caused some to speculate that Calvin’s recent rant on Twitter was calculated, as well, providing more publicity and money for Taylor and her tunes.

After Calvin and Swift split, he posted (then deleted) a claim on Instagram that Taylor “controlled the media.” Her other boyfriends have taken various paths to dealing with post-breakup rumors, including having breakup anthems penned about them.
John Mayer, one of Taylor’s former boyfriends, described himself as “humiliated” when he learned that Swift had written “Dear John” about their romance, terming it a “really lousy thing” for Taylor to create.
“How presumptuous! I never disclose who my songs are about,” she responded.
As for the final word on whether the couple already known as “Hiddleswift” is faking their romance as a publicity stunt or as performance art? Hiddleston attempted to provide it, while awkwardly including Swift’s full name just in case anyone might think he had another Taylor in his life.
“The truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together, and we’re very happy,” proclaimed Tom.
