Dina Lohan Swears She Wasn’t Drunk During Dr. Phil Interview

Although many viewers believe that Dina Lohan was drunk during her recent interview with Dr. Phil, the woman who gave the world Lindsay Lohan swears she wasn’t intoxicated. According to the Daily Mail, Lohan doesn’t really care what viewers at home will think of her appearance on the daytime talk show. The troubled mother’s peculiar behavior, she claims, is nothing more than the magic of exploitative television editing.

“I don’t care what it looks like. I’m fine and I don’t care what anyone says,” she explained to the folks at TMZ. “All people saw was two minutes edited of an hour long interview. Of course they cut it to make it interesting. That’s their job . I don’t blame them for doing that. Some of the comments were taken out of context but I’m fine. I’m fine.”

To many people who watched the recently-uploaded promo for the upcoming episode of Dr. Phil, Dina Lohan appears to be having trouble forming complete sentences. She also doesn’t take too kindly to those who believe she’s the worst mother on the planet, describing her critics as “mean.” At one point during the promotional clip, Lohan asks if the cameras are rolling. Unfortunately for her, they were.

“Can I go home now?” she inquires at one point.

Although Dina Lohan may appear to be intoxicated during this appearance, she swears this isn’t the case. However, despite all the negative attention, the embattled mom feels positively about the episode.

“I think the interview will be good. I know what I said and the facts are what the facts are. The proof is in the facts. The truth will set you free,” she explained.

In other wacky Lohan news, apparently Linsday wasn’t too thrilled with the jokes the Scary Movie 5 script was making at her expense. Although she agreed to a cameo in the film, she was reportedly missing in action when it came time to step foot in front of the camera.

“Lindsay missed every meeting she had for the film, including script reads and wardrobe meetings. Then she missed her flight to Atlanta on Sunday to shoot the movie. The producers had been getting signs Friday that she was a mess, and would not be fit to work. (The scene) went pretty hard at Lindsay … she’d been freaking out about it for weeks,” a source explained to the New York Post.

Dina Lohan’s appearance on Dr. Phil is scheduled to air Monday, September 17.
