Rob Kardashian And Blac Chyna’s Baby Has Him Back In Family’s Favor
Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s baby has the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star back in the good graces of celebrity mom Kris Jenner and the rest of the Kardashian Klan. Rob, the former Dancing with the Stars contestant and 29-year-old sock-trepreneur, is expecting his first child this fall with rapper Tyga’s ex-fiancée and voluptuous video vixen, the 28-year-old Blac Chyna, né Angela Renée White.
In a recent report from People, soon-to-be-grandmother Kris gushed to the magazine about the in utero Kardashian’s prenatal ability to foster familial affinity. Telling the publication she is “very excited” about the expectant baby, Jenner indicated that Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s baby has engendered a new closeness with her eldest son and brought the former black sheep of the Kardashian family back into the fold.

Mama Kris went on to state that Rob and Blac Chyna’s upcoming baby has even given the gentleman Kardashian his groove back. After many a tabloid tale of various drug addiction rumors and weight-related health scares for the only son of Jenner and the late Robert George Kardashian, the matriarch was proud to divulge that Rob seems to be back to his old self these days while awaiting the baby’s arrival.
“The old Rob is so funny and so engaging and so charming and such a wonderful guy and to see that disappear for a minute broke my heart. So to have him in this happy place, it means everything.”
In a recent and rare on-camera interview in May with E! News, Rob revealed his excitement for his forthcoming baby with the pregnant Blac Chyna, the businesswoman at the helm of Lashed cosmetics, Lashed Bar salon, and 88Fin clothing. Speaking to on-air correspondent Zuri Hall, Kardashian relayed his sense of wide-eyed wonder and unbridled enthusiasm on his new baby with Ms. Blac.
“I mean it’s my first time, so everything is exciting, literally.”
This is not the first child for Blac Chyna, who is mother to 3-year-old King Cairo Stevenson with bygone beau Tyga (real name: Micheal Ray Stevenson). The two began dating in 2011 during Chris Brown’s “The F.A.M.E. Tour,” of which Tyga was a support act for the North American leg. Following Blac’s appearance in Tyga’s “Rack City” music video, the pair were practically inseparable, with newborn King Cairo coming shortly thereafter in October 2012.
As pop culture denizens are well aware, Chyna and Tyga split in 2014. Prior to Blac Chyna’s romantic involvement with Rob Kardashian, Tyga reportedly hooked up with Rob’s younger half-sister, 18-year-old Kylie Jenner — according to some reports, even before her 18th birthday in August 2015. The Kylie-Tyga twosome has been a contentious on-again, off-again tabloid tableau ever since. There’s been little comment from Rob on Tyga and Kylie’s dalliance.
Rob Kardashian has been slowly coming out of his self-imposed shell ever since his being linked to Blac Chyna at the beginning of this year. The reality television star appears to be losing weight and generally taking better care of himself since the new love entered his life. One can only hope Rob Kardashian’s new baby with his sultry sweetheart continues his upswing.
Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna will also star in their own new reality show documenting their relationship, tentatively titled Rob & Chyna. Reportedly, the show will debut sometime this year as a six-episode miniseries on the E! cable network.
