The Craziest ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 7 Predictions That Just May Be True
Season 6 of Game of Thrones answered a lot of questions, chiefly the true identity of Jon Snow’s parents.
However, the Season 6 finale also left a lot of things unanswered. With a year to wait for Game of Thrones’ return, here are the craziest Season 7 predictions that might turn out to be true.
The majority of theories surround Jon’s fate, and for good reason. Not only did we learn that Jon is a Targaryen, but he was also hailed as King in the finale. With Jon quickly becoming one of the biggest players in Westeros, how will his storyline develop in Season 7?
According to Bustle, there is a chance that Jon has a twin. His mother, Lyanna Stark, gave up a lot of blood during Jon’s birth, which might indicate she had twins. If this is the case, then Meera Reed is a good candidate for Jon’s twin sister. She could also be the third person who rides Daenerys’ dragons.
Speaking of Daenerys, some believe that she and Jon will get married in Season 7. Although they are related, Daenerys will do anything to obtain the Iron Throne. It would also fulfill the main narrative of the book series by George R.R. Martin, A Song of Fire and Ice.
Regardless of what happens between Jon and Daenerys, fans can expect her to return to Westeros next soon. However, before she stops at King’s Landing to confront Cersei, Entertainment Weekly reports that the Dragon Queen might make a pit stop in Dorne.Once in Dorne, Daenerys could make an alliance with Lady Olenna and Ellaria Sand.
Either way, a confrontation between Daenerys and Cersei is likely to happen soon. For Cersei, her fate might rest in a new alliance with Euron Greyjoy.
Euron wanted to join forces with Daenerys in Meereen, but Yara and Theon beat him to it. With Cersei significantly outnumbered – Daenerys has an army of Unsullied, Dothraki and three dragons – she might turn to Euron for help.
Of course, Cersei has family issues to deal with, too. It has well established that Cersei will die at the hands of a younger brother. Will Cersei’s use of wildfire and Tommen’s death lead Jaime to kill his own sister?
Meanwhile, Pop Sugar is reporting that Season 7 of Game of Thrones might be big for one Arya Stark. Now that Arya is back in Westeros and checking people off her list, there is a chance that she will re-unite with Nymeria, her long-lost direwolf.
At the same time, Arya might cross paths with Melisandre again. Melisandre is returning south while Arya is working her way north, which makes a meeting in Season 7 very likely.
As far as Bran is concerned, he still needs to tell Jon about his true lineage. According to Nerdist, this could have lasting impacts on Westeros. If Bran crosses the wall in order to find Jon, then he could break the magical protection that prevents the White Walkers from moving south. A similar thing happened when the Night King touched Bran during one of his visions.
If Bran brings down the wall, then Jon and his northern army will be forced to fight the White Walkers and their horde of undead.
Lastly, Samwell Tarly might be a more important character than anyone thought.
Samwell is currently studying to become maester of the Citadel and might be the person who is actually narrating the entire story. After all, Samwell loves to read, and has managed to witness a lot of the events in Westeros. If he becomes maester, he could very well write a book that eventually becomes the Song of Ice and Fire.
