Real Madrid Star Gareth Bale Gets Engaged To His Girlfriend Emma Rhys-Jones
Real Madrid and Wales star Gareth Bale announced his engagement with long-time girlfriend Emma Rhys-Jones. Gareth Bale is a happy man these days, as he recently had an incredible European Championship with his nation. Now, he is blessed in his personal life too, as his sweetheart, Emma Rhys-Jones, has agreed to take their relationship to the next level.
Announcing the good news on Twitter, the soon to be groom tweeted, “She said yes! This is a birthday weekend I won’t forget for a long time.”
As reported by the Mirror, Bale, who celebrated his 27th birthday just a day before, disclosed the news confirming his marriage with the mother of his two children.

In the pictures shared by Bale, his fiancee is seen wearing a ring, and the couple is obviously in a very cheerful mood.
The Real Madrid forward has two daughters with Emma Rhys-Jones, Alba Violet and Nava Valentine. Alba is the older of the two and was born in October 2012 in Cardiff, Wales. The younger one, Nava, was born this year in the same city just four months ago.
Before announcing the engagement news, Gareth Bale, who holds the record for being most expensive soccer player ever, had traveled to Spain, enjoying the beaches of the beautiful country.
Images posted by the Mirror showed Bale basking in the sun holding his daughter Alba and his soon-to-be-wife flaunting her curvy figure. Emma was wearing a white bikini while her man was seen wearing black half-pant.
Producing mind-blowing performances last season, Bale helped Real Madrid win their 11th European Cup, his second since joining Real three years ago. At the finale of the season, Bale participated in European Championship with his nation Wales, where he was one of the players of the tournament, dragging his team to semifinal spot. This unprecedented achievement by Wales is largely a credit to their talisman, Bale, as he produced virtuoso performances to lead his country to glory.
His manager, Chris Coleman, said, “Gareth is clearly a special player. For us he is special, not just because of his talent but what he represents when he plays for Wales.”
He added, “He appreciates what he has around him and they appreciate they have a super talent, so it is a good blend.”
The Real Madrid forward scored in all group-stage games in Euro 2016, thus making Wales group winners in the first round of the tournament. In the semifinal game against Portugal, a superior Portugal side beat Wales 2-0, but Bales’s adroitness was visible as he was in the everything positive Wales had done in that night in Parc Olympique Lyonnais stadium.
Bale and his teammates received a hero’s welcome in their country after the team returned home from the Euro 2016. Gareth celebrated the elevated status of his nation in soccer, evident by the FIFA ranking of 11th place, posting an old photo of his in the national team, writing, “We have come a long way.”

Surprisingly, Gareth Bale was overlooked when UEFA announced official team of the tournament at the consummation of the championship. Many fans took social media platform to suggest the decision of UEFA farcical.
After his team’s elimination on July 7, Bale was off to vacation with his near and dear ones: his girlfriend and their two daughters, Alba and Nava.
Real Madrid fans hoped that their superstar striker-cum-winger would come back feeling relaxed, content, and happy. But now, the news of Bale’s success in his personal life would make the Real Madrid fans extremely happy, because as long as Bale is happy off the field, he would virtually guarantee silverware for their beloved club.
