Katy Perry ‘Glad’ Calvin Harris Is Shining A Light On The Real Taylor Swift

Katy Perry allegedly feels “vindicated” and “glad” after Calvin Harris very publicly called out ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift on social media on July 13.

According to reports, Katy is most definitely on Team Calvin following the latest round of social media drama and allegedly still feels “bitter” about how Swift slammed her in her 2014 hit, “Bad Blood.”

“Katy is still bitter about the way Taylor went after her,” a source recently told Hollywood Life of how Perry really feels about the social media drama, adding that “Katy can’t help but feel vindicated by this.”

The site’s insider also admitted that Perry is “glad” that Calvin “is finally shining the light on exactly who Taylor is.”

Katy’s alleged vindication comes after Harris appeared to reignite their past feud on social media this week while calling out Swift, whom he dated for 15 months before the two split just weeks ago, after it was alleged that Swift wrote his hit “This Is What You Came For” under the pseudonym Nils Sjöberg.

Harris went on a pretty scathing rant after a rep said that Taylor was behind the track, even claiming that the pop star attempted to “bury” Katy during their past feud that began after Swift previously called out Katy for “sabotaging” her tour in a candid interview with Rolling Stone.

“I know you’re off tour,” Harris wrote on Twitter on July 13, directing his message at Taylor, “and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it.”

Katy Perry is yet to officially respond to the latest drama, though she appeared to have a coy response to the social media call out on Twitter.

Shortly after Calvin took aim at Swift, Perry retweeted a past tweet of hers that read, “Time, the ultimate truth teller” after posting a pretty sassy GIF of Hillary Clinton.

But while Perry didn’t explicitly respond to the drama, rumors are swirling that Katy could be ready to hit back at Taylor in song on her upcoming album.

“Katy definitely had thoughts to squash their beef in light of all the bigger things happening in the world,” an insider admitted to Hollywood Life, claiming that while Perry was allegedly on the fence about whether or not she would release a diss track aimed at Swift, though the recent drama may have pushed her to drop a scathing new song.

“As the weeks have gone by and seeing what she is doing in this whole Calvin debacle has really lit the fire again,” the source said of Perry.

The latest reports come just days after Hollywood Life first claimed that Perry had written a number of diss tracks aimed at Swift and their past feud but was unsure whether or not to release them.

“Katy has recorded response tracks about ‘Bad Blood’ and about Taylor Swift,” a source revealed, admitting that “[it’s] currently a flip of the coin on if she is going to go through it or not.”

“[Katy] is weighing the pros and cons on releasing them,” the insider said earlier this month of Perry’s alleged diss songs. “It certainly would help record sales and she would be happy to get the last word on everything.”

But before things between Taylor and Katy boiled over once again, the site’s insider claimed that Perry was done with the drama and “wants the petty bulls*** between them both to just end.”
