The official movie trailer for Texas Chainsaw 3D was released on Thursday and as expected it attempted to be just like the original … but in 3D.
In the newest remake of the horror classic a young female travels to Texas to collect her inheritance. Once in town she unwittingly heads to the exact home being occupied by the crazed, chainsaw attacking killer.
The movie is directed by John Luessenhop who’s most recent movie Takers featured the acting stylings of R&B singer and Rihanna boxing opponent Chris Brown.
Starring in the film is a b-list cast that includes:
Alexandra Daddario, Dan Yeager, Tremaine “Trey Songz” Neverson, Scott Eastwood, Tania Raymonde, Shaun Sipos, Keram Malicki-Sanchez, James MacDonald, Thom Barry, Paul Rae, Richard Riehle, Bill Moseley, Gunnar Hansen
If you watch this trailer and immediately think to yourself “I have to go see this” then you are probably the only one. In any case you can go check it out when it debuts on January 4th, 2013.

The poster for this movie says “evil wears many faces” and I think one of those faces after watching this movie trailer might boil down to being forced to watch Texas Chainsaw 3D.
