Tara Reid Says Alleged Motorcycle Accident Was Staged By TMZ [Video]

actress Tara Reid is blasting members of TMZ after the popular celebrity media outlet posted video footage of her falling off a stationary moped in France over the weekend.

According to Reid, the entire video, which shows the actress and a friend “hammered drunk” and sprawled out on on the ground in St. Tropez, was an attempt by TMZ to make it look like she had returned to her wild partying ways.

“Tmz are liars and they always against me they pushed us down that’s why we fell why don’t u see how we fell? It’s a set up,” Reid Tweeted on September 11.

Reid continued:

“Look how it is edited they only (showed) u after they knocked us down in front of our own boat its so wrong and I will defend us this time 100 (per cent). That’s why I was covering my face I knew I was getting set up so unfair its totally not right and I finally have had it stop picking on me!”

In response to Reid’s set up allegations, TMZ showed pictures of the actress on the morning after her motorcycle mishap.

In the shots, which the outlet say are proof Reid was wasted, Tara is seen on a yacht wearing the exact same blue party dress she donned during her drunken outing and lighting a cigarette with a BBQ lighter.

“That’s called the morning after being wasted,” one of the TMZ crew says of pictures.

In addition to their picture proof, TMZ noted that Reid was captured on video laughing and giggling after falling off the bike. If she had really been pushed over, TMZ explains, she would have been angry, not laughing.
