‘Fifty Shades Darker’ Teaser Trailer And Red Room Photos Released, Jamie Dornan Out For ‘Fifty Shades Freed’?

Fifty Shades Darker is getting ready to release its first teaser trailer.

The new trailer follows a series of behind-the-scenes photos released by E.L. James on Instagram.

According to Melty, the photos include several shots of the red room, Christian Grey’s (Jamie Dornan) infamous sex chamber.

“Peek-a-boo. That’s not Mrs. Jones cleaning,” James captioned one Instagram image. “It’s Jared Brown #SetDresser #PROP.”

Expectations surrounding the Fifty Shades of Grey sequel are high. So far, producers have been fairly mum about the remaining films in the hit trilogy.

Even still, fans can expect Fifty Shades Darker to include more of a love story between Dornan’s character and Dakota Johnson’s Anastasia Steele. This change is in part due to the adaption of the book and partly because the next two movies have a new director in James Foley.

Joining Dornan and Johnson are a host of new characters, including Leila Williams (Bella Heathcote), Elena Lincoln (Kim Basinger), and Jack Hyde (Eric Johnson).

While fans wait earnestly for the new trailer and first look at Fifty Shades Darker, rumors continued to mount about Dornan’s involvement in the final movie, Fifty Shades Freed.

Will Dornan reprise his role for Fifty Shades Freed?

According to Movie News Guide, Dornan is not planning on being a part of the franchise after Fifty Shades Darker. Dornan is allegedly leaving the erotic drama because his wife, Amelia Warner, is battling Postpartum depression.

Dornan and Warner recently had their second child together, and his work on Fifty Shades Darker has put incredible strain on Warner.

In order to alleviate his wife’s suffering, Dornan plans on withdrawing from the third film. This has reportedly caused multiple delays in production.

To complicate matters further, Warner allegedly dislikes Dornan’s involvement in the erotic franchise and isn’t happy with her husband’s sex scenes with Johnson.

Warner faced similar rumors during Fifty Shades Grey.

At the same time, Morning Ledger is reporting that Dornan and Johnson have gotten closer since filming for Fifty Shades Darker started. Apparently, their closeness has driven a wedge between Dornan and Warner.

Of course, Warner might not be worried about Dornan’s professional relationship with Johnson.

The Fifty Shades Darker star and Warner were recently spotted on a lunch date together in Vancouver. Johnson took time away from filming to eat with Dornan’s wife and quash rumors of bad blood.

A photo of the lunch outing surfaced on Twitter, with the caption “Dakota Johnson & Amelia Warner – In Vancouver, Canada.”

Dornan flew his family to Vancouver in order to spend time with them while he works on Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed.

Unfortunately, the dinner date has not dispelled reports of a potential romance between the Fifty Shades Darker stars.

If the affair is true, then it could explain the apparent delay in filming. Dornan and Warner will need to work things out soon to avoid his exit from Fifty Shades Freed.

Dornan’s departure would be a huge hit to the franchise, which managed to make over $500 million on the first film, Fifty Shades of Grey.

That being said, filming for Fifty Shades Freed has already started and there are no signs that indicate Dornan has left. Instead, it appears as though Dornan is reprising his role for the third film in the franchise.

James’ photos and a promise of a coming trailer are good indications that filming for Fifty Shades Freed is still on track.

Neither Dornan nor Johnson have commented on his rumored departure.

Fifty Shades Darker is scheduled to open in theaters on February 10, 2017, while Fifty Shades Freed is expected to be released a year later.
