Lady Gaga Shaves Her Head To Support Terry Richardson

Lady Gaga shaved her head! But don’t worry, the Mother Monster didn’t go full Pickler. Instead, like Avril Lavigne, Gaga just shaved off a small portion of her hair.

According to Today, the pop singer shaved off her hair to support celebrity photographer Terry Richardson. Richardson’s mother passed away earlier this week.

Lady Gaga wrote:

“I did it for u Terry … I’m sorry about ure mommy. She has princess die, but were all princess high.”

Gaga and Richardson have worked together several times in the past. In 2011, they compiled all of their photographs for a book called Lady Gaga X Terry Richardson.

The pop singer is just the latest entertainer to shave off her hair. Kellie Pickler recently went completely bald in order to support a friend who was being treated for breast cancer. Miley Cyrus didn’t shave her head but she did get rid of almost all of her hair. Avril Lavigne also shaved off a chunk of her for New York Fashion Week.
