Kathryn Edwards Seemingly Confirms Lisa Vanderpump Has Friend Joining ‘RHOBH’ Season 7 Cast
It seems that the reports that the Season 7 cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will include one of Lisa Vanderpump’s friends is true. On Friday morning, Kathryn Edwards, who joined the show midway through Season 6, but confirmed on Thursday that she’s not returning for another season, seemingly confirmed via social media that one of the new cast members is a friend of Lisa’s.
A viewer tweeted that she hears that Lisa has a friend joining the cast. Kathryn replied to the tweet, pretty much confirming that it’s true, Kathryn wrote that the viewer has “good ears on the ground.”
I think you have good ears on the ground.

Who is this friend of Lisa’s who has joined the Season 7 cast? On Thursday, Us Weekly, citing a source described as a person close to Lisa, reported that it is Dorit Kemsley. Dorit, who is also British, is married to businessman Paul Kemsley.

Four days ago, Dorit’s husband posted a photo of himself with a cameraman and teased that there’s a “new journey” coming ahead.

On Thursday, Lisa Vanderpump confirmed that she has signed on for Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. In a tweet, Lisa admitted that she never thought she would return, but after many discussions, she decided to do it once again.
Yep,never thought I would return, but after many discussions. The pump is still in the game ??
Thank you to all of you.#rhobh— Lisa Vanderpump (@LisaVanderpump) July 7, 2016
What changed Lisa’s mind? It apparently had nothing to do with money. Lisa tweeted that she didn’t return for the money.
nope,it wasn't about money,but yes I agree with you??

Later that day, Lisa’s husband, Ken Todd, tweeted the link to an article that reported that Lisa agreed to return for another season under several conditions. The conditions were that the show showcase Lisa’s work for the LGBT community, AIDS awareness and research, and her fight to end the Yulin dog meat festival in China.

Lisa has often said that Real Housewives offers its cast members a platform and that they should use the platform for good. It seems that Lisa is making sure that her time as a housewife isn’t just all about petty drama and arguments.
One thing’s for certain. Lisa is hoping that Season 7 is easier for her than Season 6, during which some of her co-stars accused her of being manipulative. Lisa tweeted that she also hopes that the new season is smoother and that she finds herself some loyal co-stars. Perhaps Dorit Kemsley will stick by Lisa — who now doesn’t have Kathryn Edwards by her side — and steadfastly defend her when the drama begins?
yep me too.

Lisa also responded to some criticism. In response to one person who wrote that she wouldn’t have so much success with her restaurants if it wasn’t for the show, Lisa pointed out that she had 29 restaurants even before she joined Real Housewives.
well I had 29 before the show …

In response to another person who expressed hope that Lisa won’t play the victim again on the new season, Lisa said that she doesn’t play anything.
I don't play anything.

Lisa also denied that she was holding out on signing her contract until producers agreed to fire someone she didn’t like. In her denial, Lisa seemed to say that Season 7 has already begun filming.
no wrong they had already started so zip it.

The day Lisa confirmed her return for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 7, Kathryn confirmed that she wasn’t returning. In a statement to People, Kathryn said that while she enjoyed her time on the show, she wanted to get back to her old life. Kathryn’s wording implied that it was her decision to leave.
“I really am kind of a private person. It really just comes down to the time and what I value the most. I value those times with my husband and our friends. And I really didn’t want to miss another year. It’s nice to be able to live life.”

Despite her departure from the show, Kathryn will continue to watch. She confessed that she’ll likely to tune in to see how Lisa Vanderpump, whom she stuck up for during Season 6 and the reunion show, will fare with the cast next season.
“I’m sure I will [watch next season]! I’m dying to see what’s going to happen with Vanderpump and the crew next season!”
Kathryn Edwards isn’t the only person from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 whom viewers won’t see on the new season, at least in a starring role. Yolanda Foster announced several weeks ago that she won’t be returning for another season. Also not returning is former starring cast member Brandi Glanville. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Andy Cohen, who is executive producer of the franchise, recently pretty much denied that Brandi is returning to take Yolanda’s place.
