JoJo Fletcher And Jordan Rodgers Over Already? Why ‘The Bachelorette’ Couple May Have Already Called It Quits
So far, all signs indicate that Jordan Rodgers will be Fletcher’s final selection. Although Rodgers may end up winning The Bachelorette, that doesn’t mean he’ll stay with Fletcher for very long.
In fact, the two may have already separated.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Rodgers’ motivation for being on the show has been questioned since the very beginning. For the most part, many believe that Rodgers is only on The Bachelorette for fame and to land the lead role on The Bachelor.
Just last week, SEC Network announced that Rodgers had been cast for an unknown part on a television series. Details about the part haven’t been released, though it is clear that Rodgers is using his newfound fame to his advantage.
To complicate matters even further, International Business Times reports that Chad Johnson recently accused Rodgers of milking Fletcher for his own gain.
“Looks like Jordan Rodgers got what he wanted out of all of this,” Johnson wrote on Twitter. “Way to play your role buddy! #TheBachelorette.”
Rodgers has also faced criticism for his former relationship with Brittany Farrar.
According to Hollywood Take, Farrar claims that Rodgers cheated on her. Rodgers denies the cheating allegations and claims that his football career is what ended his romance with Farrar.
“Riding the bench doesn’t get in the way of a relationship, but cheating does,” Farrar wrote on Instagram.
According to Wet Paint, JoJo Fletcher will address Rodgers’ cheating past in the next episode of The Bachelorette.
“I actually met somebody that you used to date,” Fletcher tells Rodgers in a new clip. “This girl told me that you guys had dated, and you kinda were off and on with her, you kind of blew her off, there was some trust stuff.”
Instead of admitting that he cheated, Rodgers explained how football got in the way of his dating life.
“I was focused on one thing in my life: being the best football player I could be. And when I wasn’t, that was tough, and I took it out on people,” he told her. “She was along for the rollercoaster of when I was at my best and when I was at my worst.”
An inside source explained that Rodgers admitted to flirting with multiple women but claims that he never cheated on Farrar.
To substantiate his faithfulness, a friend of Rodgers told Us Weekly that he is “a good person” and “a ladies man” but doesn’t cheat.
The fact that Rodgers had an active account on Raya, an exclusive dating app, while filming The Bachelorette doesn’t help his case any.
“Completely false,” Rodgers wrote on Twitter in response to the Raya issue. “Acct inactive since Feb + completely canceled exact min phone was returned 2 me in May.”
Even Fletcher has her doubts about Rodgers. Although she confronted him about his past on The Bachelorette, she still doesn’t think he’s falling in love with her.
“JoJo feels like Jordan is out of her league, for some reason,” an insider revealed. “Even though he says he’s falling for her, JoJo is concerned that he’s not as into her as she is into him.”
Taken together, Rodgers’ many shortcomings point towards an early breakup with Fletcher.
Of course, there is always the possibility that Rodgers won’t receive Fletcher’s final rose.
For her part, Game N Guide reports that Fletcher might be using The Bachelorette in order to pay Ben Higgins back for dumping her on The Bachelor.
Whatever the truth is, the future does not look promising for Fletcher.
Fans can watch Fletcher narrow down her choices when The Bachelorette airs Monday nights on ABC.
