Kendall Jenner & Taylor Swift Feuding Over Kanye West, Harry Styles Drama?
There may be bad blood brewing between Kendall Jenner and Taylor Swift.
New reports are claiming that Jenner was purposefully left off the guest list for Swift’s recent Fourth of July bash, which saw a slew of Taylor’s girl squad party with the star in Rhode Island, because of Taylor’s ongoing feud with Kendall’s brother-in-law, Kanye West.
According to a source who spoke out to Hollywood Life, Kendall was not invited to hang out with Swift and her squad, including Blake Lively, Cara Delevingne, Gigi Hadid, and Karlie Kloss, but allegedly wouldn’t have attended the party even if she had received an invite.
“Kendall would not have gone to Taylor’s party, even if she had been invited — family always comes first and Kanye is her family,” a source recently told Hollywood Life of how Jenner is sticking by her sister Kim Kardashian and brother-in-law Kanye West in the wake of their recent drama with Swift.
“She didn’t have to make any big decision because she was not invited,” the source continued, citing that Kanye, as well as Kendall’s history with Taylor ex-boyfriend Harry Styles, as the two big reasons why Jenner was omitted from the guest list. “There’s still awkwardness because of Harry [Styles], so she was never on the list.”
However, according to the source, Kendall wasn’t too worried about spending Independence Day away from Swift and her girl squad as the big bash came just days after things boiled over between Swift and West following the reveal of his controversial “Famous” music video.
“Kendall doesn’t care at all that she wasn’t invited. She found a deal for her to get paid to stay in a Malibu beach house, so she was more than happy,” the Jenner source told Hollywood Life. “She’d rather make money than go to a party at Taylor Swift’s anyway.”
And it sounds like in addition to making a little cash over the holiday, Kendall Jenner also spend some time with her rumored new boyfriend, Jordan Clarkson.
E! News noted this week that Jenner and Clarkson are allegedly “casually dating” but are keeping their new romance “on the down-low in public,” despite being spotted together during their Fourth of July celebrations.
Kendall and Taylor are yet to speak out about the alleged drama that saw Jenner ditched from Swift’s annual bash, though reports claiming that the former friends may no longer be getting along come just days after sources alleged that Jenner was actually doing all she could to mend Swift and West’s damaged relationship.
The Mirror is reporting that, following the drama surrounding Kanye’s track, “Famous,” Jenner was actually attempting to “mediate” between the two parties after Kim Kardashian branded Swift a liar in an interview with GQ Magazine shortly before West featured a nude Taylor waxwork in the song’s music video.
“Things have gone nuclear since then,” the site’s source revealed.
“The Kardashians are known for closing ranks, and she’s under a lot of pressure to cut ties with Taylor,” according to the insider, who made the claims just days before Kendall was noticeably absent from Taylor’s annual big Fourth of July party.
“The whole drama has left Kendall caught in the middle between her and her family,” the Kardashian/Jenner insider continued, admitting that Jenner is now “desperate for it to blow over.”
