‘Once Upon A Time’ Season 6: How Regina Can Stop The Evil Queen [Theory]
Once Upon A Time Season 6 will not have just one villain, but a few of them. Not only is Mr. Hyde a major problem, but Regina had an unexpected consequence when she separated herself from her alter ego, The Evil Queen. Somehow, the fairy tale villain survived the separation and has waged war on Regina and Storybrooke. It was previously revealed that The Evil Queen cannot be killed, but there may be another way to stop the OUAT character.
Warning: Theories and spoilers for Once Upon A Time Season 6 are ahead.
As previously reported by The Inquisitr, The Evil Queen cannot be killed. If there is no way to end the life of the OUAT villain, then how will the powerful character be stopped? She is not pleased with the type of person Regina (Lana Parrilla) has become. The Evil Queen has started a war with Regina and is determined to show her what it looks like to have everyone’s happiness ripped away.
Ecumenical News wrote a theory that to stop The Evil Queen, Regina may have to die in Once Upon A Time Season 6. Although this is always a possibility, there may be a less lethal way to deal with the villain.

Regina’s storyline in Season 6 will be focused on The Evil Queen, but it seems that Regina will have to do a lot of soul-searching. The Evil Queen is not the typical villain and her release is not the only issue. Not only could Storybrooke fall victim to the pure evil that used to be inside Regina, but Parrilla’s character will have to deal with not having that part inside of her anymore. How will it change Regina in Once Upon A Time, if it changes her at all? Will she even be the same person?
“There’s a lot of questions to be asked about what it means when you separate parts of yourself,” Adam Horowitz teased to Entertainment Weekly, “and can you really separate these parts of yourself?”
The co-creator and executive producer seemed to be hinting that it might not be possible to separate parts of an individual. Everyone is made up of small parts that create a whole, which makes a person unique. Just like with a recipe or scientific formula, you take one small thing away and it changes everything and not always for the better. Is it possible that the only way to stop The Evil Queen is by Regina making it a part of herself again?

“That’s why we did the Jekyll and Hyde [Sam Witwer] story, which was, can you really eliminate the darkness inside you? Is that really the best way?” Edward Kitsis added. “Those are the things we’re really looking forward to exploring this season.”
In a separate interview with Entertainment Weekly, Horowitz gave some information on the new characters and The Land Of Untold Stories. It seems that they will somehow relate to the existing Storybrooke residents or draw parallels to the issues the characters have within themselves.
“The intent is that these new characters and new stories are really a reflection on what’s going on inside of our characters,” Horowitz said regarding OUAT Season 6. “With Lana and The Evil Queen, that’s the starkest example, which we’ve already teased. We’re literally going inside her and pulling her apart. There are elements of that that we’re planning to do for each and every one of the characters.”
What do you think is going to happen in Season 6? Is the only way for Regina to stop The Evil Queen by making her alter ego a part of herself again? Fans won’t have to wait long to find out. A new season of Once Upon A Time airs September 25 on ABC network.
