Bethenny Says There’s Something ‘Fishy’ About LuAnn De Lesseps’ Tom Who Has Past With Ramona Singer And Sonja Morgan

Why can’t LuAnn de Lesseps’ The Real Housewives of New York City co-stars be happy for her about her very fast-moving relationship with Tom D’Agostino, Jr? Are they, as LuAnn guessed, simply jealous of her and can’t stand to see her happy? Not so, according to Bethenny Frankel. In her latest blog post recapping Wednesday night’s episode, Bethenny denied that any of the housewives are jealous of LuAnn’s relationship with Tom. Bethenny also admitted that she finds something “fishy” about Tom, considering how fast his relationship with LuAnn is moving and the fact that he was previously involved with both Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan.

Bethenny maintained that no one is jealous of LuAnn’s relationship with Tom.

“I can say many things but one I am certain about is that no one is jealous of Luann’s relationship with Tom. At this point, we are really hoping it is real and that Luann is happy, but no one is jealous. Fact.”

She questioned why LuAnn’s relationship with Tom is moving so fast and pointed out that it’s very questionable that Tom has now been involved with three housewives.

“So three people at this table have been with Tom? I mean the Upper East Side is small, but Manhattan is huge. Something smells fishy. Why the rush? What is it with this guy swimming in one tiny fishbowl? I’m feeling my usual skeptical self.”

On the latest episode of The Real Housewives of New York City, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan took a private dance class to learn some new moves. Talk turned to LuAnn de Lesseps and her new relationship. Ramona, who claims to have gone on several dates with Tom D’Agostino, Jr. right before his relationship with LuAnn began, told Sonja that LuAnn was neglecting her friends now that she’s with Tom.

“She’s only been with him for four weeks. I don’t like that she’s being self-absorbed, only thinking about herself and the man she’s with. She’s not paying attention to her friends.”

Sonja voiced support for LuAnn. Sonja, who previously expressed surprise in a confessional interview about LuAnn’s relationship with Tom since she herself had a sexual relationship with him, which she implied continued even when he began dating LuAnn, reminded Ramona that LuAnn really wants to get married.

“We have to be a friend to her too and realize she’s in love. We have to give her some time…She wants to get married. She’s been dating a lot longer than you. You just started dipping your toe in the pond of the dating world. She’s been doing it, out there, banging away.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Ramona explained in a blog post several weeks ago that her relationship with Tom never advanced because she’s looking for a man with a child or children of his own considering her own very close relationship with her daughter.

Yet Ramona continued her criticism of LuAnn later on in the episode during a casual meeting at Bethenny Frankel’s home with Bethenny, Dorinda Medley, and Carole Radziwill. Bethenny chimed in that LuAnn was going back to her “Countess ways.”

In a confessional interview, LuAnn surmised that the other women were jealous of her.

“It’s a jealousy thing. I think they cannot stand that I found my soulmate and that I am truly happy and in love. I think it pissed them off. There’s a certain amount of ‘Huh, it should be me.'”

On Twitter, Bethenny called LuAnn’s opinion that she and the others are jealous of her “rich.”

Later on in the episode, during the group’s dinner in an Italian restaurant, LuAnn happily announced that she had moved into Tom’s home and that he was shopping for rings. When criticism and questions of the relationship started coming in, LuAnn confronted Ramona about talking about her. Bethenny said that she found it “interesting” that LuAnn, Ramona, and Sonja have all been involved with the same man. At that moment, Sonja declared that she was having sex with Tom for 10 years.

“Tom’s been friends with benefits for 10 years.”

Everyone looked shocked. Ramona dropped her fork and almost spat out her food. Even Bethenny Frankel was stunned into silence. In her confessional interview, Sonja said that she just decided to say it right then and there since she knew it was just a matter of time before it was brought up.

Not surprisingly, LuAnn was none too pleased.

“Anything that happened before Lu, I don’t give a flying leap. Guess what, nothing you can say, any of you, nothing you can say can change my mind about this guy. We have a real relationship and we’re getting married. That’s the real deal. So I don’t care who f**ked who. I don’t care.”

To Sonja’s credit, she did agree with LuAnn that she and Tom have a real relationship and that’s all that matters now.

Yet LuAnn was still furious. She left the table after calling the women “b***hes.”

“All my friends are happy for me except you b***hes. Why?”

As the episode aired, LuAnn tweeted that real friends should be happy for one another.

Yet it seems that despite Sonja Morgan’s very public confession regarding Tom, she and LuAnn are still friends. On Twitter, LuAnn thanked Sonja for having her back.

A preview for next week’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York City shows that viewers will continue to see LuAnn de Lesseps defend her relationship with Tom D’Agostino, even when Ramona Singer warns her to not rush into marriage after being with the guy for four weeks.
