Anna Paquin And Stephen Moyer Welcome Twins

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer have welcomed their twins a few weeks earlier than expected.

A spokesperson for the couple noted that the 30-year-old actress delivered the twins “a few weeks early,” but did not reveal when she gave birth or the sex of the children, the Daily Mail reported.

Speaking with People magazine, the spokesperson for the couple said:

“We can confirm that Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer recently welcomed their twins into the world. The babies were born a few weeks early, but are in good health and both Mom and Dad are overjoyed.”

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, who met on the set of the HBO show True Blood, were married in August 2010. It is the third and fourth children for Moyer, who previouly told Us Weekly that he was overjoyed at the thought of having more children.

“I love my kids beyond anything,’ said the 42-year-old actor, who has two children, Billy and Lilac, from a previous relationship. “They’re the best things ever, and having two more is just going to be even more crazy, but that’s cool!”

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer had announced their pregnancy in April, but did not give a due date. She earned high marks from her True Blood co-stars on how she handled carrying the twins.

‘The show is taking great care of her, and I think she’s probably really happy that she has some time off now to focus on what’s to come,” said Michael McMillian, who plays Steve Newlin on the vampire drama.

Anna Paquin’s twins will be able to take her full attention, at least for a little while. True Blood just wrapped its fifth season, with the finale airing August 26.
