Blake Shelton Gushes About His Romance With Gwen Stefani In New ‘Chelsea’ Interview
Blake Shelton is gushing about his romance with Gwen Stefani in a new interview with Chelsea Handler. The country singer dishes on how “absolutely” happy he is being with the pop singer since they began dating late last year.
People reports that the interview will stream on the Netflix series, Chelsea, this Friday. Blake also discusses his split from ex-wife Miranda Lambert. The 40-year-old star shares how Gwen and Miranda inspired his album, If I’m Honest. He starts by telling Handler that all of the elements began coming together for his album last year when everything played out along that timeline, as far as his divorce from Miranda and sparking a new romance with Gwen.
“Things kind of faded in and faded out as far as that timeline goes. But it would have started with last year when my marriage and everything just fell apart and trying to pick the pieces up from being at the rock bottom, you know, and trying to move forward,” Shelton said.

Blake was married to Miranda four years. They announced last July that they were getting a divorce. Soon thereafter, Blake Shelton started dating his Voice co-star Gwen Stefani, 46. She had announced her divorce from her husband of 13 years, Gavin Rossdale, in August.
It was not long after both superstars split from their respective partners that they bonded over their situations and found themselves connecting on a different level.
“Next thing you know, this person that I kinda knew – I had worked with on the show [but] I didn’t really know her that well, Gwen, that first time,” Shelton shared. “Just, ‘Hey, how ya doin’?’ And then to all of a sudden [I] find out she’s going through basically the same exact same thing, at the same time.”
From there on out, it was like a whirlwind for the two lovebirds. Blake said that was how his life “turned around” so quickly. He said when it was all unfolding, he told himself that “this has to be meant to happen,” so he made an album about it. He admits that it makes him “nervous to talk about it.”
Blake said he’s afraid of spilling too much because he does not want to jinx it, but when Chelsea asked him if he is happier than he has ever been in his life, he gave an emphatic yes to that answer.
“There’s no question about that. Absolutely no question about that,” Blake said.
It is noted in the report that Blake has gotten close to Gwen’s three sons — Kington, 10, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 2.

As highlighted, Gwen Stefani interviewed with Harper’s Bazaar magazine and also gushed about her romance with Blake Shelton. He came along when she felt hopeless and all of her dreams were crushed as far as love goes.
“It was like being handed this gift of a friend who was going through the exact same thing at the exact same time,” she explained. “And then everything flipped. It went from horrible to, like, hopeful and like, ‘Wow, God, you just don’t know what’s gonna happen next.'”
Blake and Gwen have been the subject of tabloid stories in all aspects of their relationship. Rumors never skip a beat with one of the music industry’s most-watched couples. A few weeks ago, there were rumors that they were secretly married and another that they were having a baby, all of which have been debunked.
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani often take to social media to post fun photos and messages about their romance. They seem to be a perfect fit for one another and fans hope to see them get engaged!
