Fifth Harmony Feud? Dinah, Lauren, Normani & Ally Celebrate Fourth Of July Without Camila Cabello
Is there drama brewing in the Fifth Harmony camp between Camila Cabello and her bandmates?
According to a new report by Perez Hilton, it looks like there could be drama in the girl band after Normani Hamilton, Dinah-Jane Hansen, Ally Brooke, and Lauren Jauregui were all spotted out celebrating the Fourth of July without their bandmate.
The site reported that the girls all took to Snapchat to show off photos and videos of themselves celebrating Independence Day while on tour in Brazil, though Camila appeared to stay back at the hotel rather than celebrating the holiday with her band mates.
A slew of Snapchat video posted by the girls from their night out were re-uploaded to Twitter by Fifth Harmony fans, showing the foursome appearing to have a pretty great time dancing together in the South American country, despite being a band member down.
One video captured by Ally and re-uploaded to Twitter by Fifth Harmony update account ?@NKHNews shows the girls dancing and hugging while Unk’s “Walk It Out” plays, while another shows the girls taking a dip in the pool.
Camila was noticeably absent in the Fifth Harmony girls’ numerous Snapchat uploads, though Cabello did take to the app herself to show fans how she celebrated the American holiday.
Rather than heading to the pool with her bandmates, Camila revealed to fans that she instead opted to stay in the bathroom, which she transformed into a makeshift recording studio.
Cabello revealed in a Snapchat photo re-uploaded to Twitter by Fifth Harmony fan @CCabelloNews that she’d been working on new music all day, showing off her laptop resting on the toilet with a keyboard on the bathroom floor.

“My lil studio I’ve been stuck in all day,” Camila captioned the bathroom snap as feud rumors began to circulate, though Cabello didn’t reveal if she was working on more solo music or potential new tracks for the band.
It’s not clear exactly why Camila Cabello appeared to opt out of Fifth Harmony’s Fourth of July celebrations, though fans were quick to speculate about Camila’s absence on social media.
?Fifth Harmony fan @tayrevival speculated on Twitter, “I know Camila doesn’t like to party and drink like the other girls so I hope that’s the reason why she’s not there,” while @boyslikelovato wrote on the social media site, “I’m so glad they’re having fun but where’s Camila?”
Other fans claimed that Camila’s absence could be because Cabello has allegedly been “distancing herself” from her Fifth Harmony bandmates for a while now.
“[People] stay asking where’s Camila when they’re out together like it hasn’t been obvious for the past year that she distances herself from them,” Twitter user @yoncedrought claimed of Cabello.
Fifth Harmony are yet to speak out about why Cabello was absent from their big Independence Day celebrations, but this isn’t the first time rumors have swirled about drama between Camila and her bandmates in recent weeks.Just two weeks ago, Lauren Jauregui’s mom appeared to hint at drama within the band after she called out Camila’s manager for failing to acknowledge the other girls when praising Cabello for taking home four awards at Canada’s Much Music Video Awards.
Cabello walked away one of the biggest winners of the night at the award show last month, winning awards for Best Pop Video and Fan Fave Video for “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” her duet with Shawn Mendes, as well as Fan Fave International Artist or Group and Most Buzzworthy International Artist or Group with Fifth Harmony.
Camila’s manager Roger Gold took to Twitter to praise Cabello, writing, “SO proud of [Camila Cabello] who won 4 #MMVAs last night [and] would’ve been the biggest winner if Drake wasn’t Canadian!”However, Lauren’s mom wasn’t so thrilled with Gold’s praise, putting him on blast for not mentioning that half of her awards also belonged to Fifth Harmony.
“Lets get it right 2 were thanks to Fifth Harmony. Just keeping it real” Jauregui’s mom tweeted in reply, though the message has since been deleted.
What do you think of Camila skipping out Fifth Harmony’s Fourth of July celebrations?
