Cynthia Bailey Done With Her Marriage, Asking For An Easy And Clean Divorce

Cynthia Bailey revealed last year that she and Peter Thomas were no longer living together. He was spending all of his time in Charlotte, North Carolina, because he was working on opening several establishments there. Bailey was staying in Atlanta, where she was working on her modeling school, Bailey Agency. And it sounds like she loves working and living in Atlanta because she’s done with her marriage. Maybe Bailey has realized that things just won’t working between them given how they don’t spend any time together.

According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report, Cynthia Bailey is now revealing that she’s done with her marriage and wants a divorce. As she explains, Cynthia still loves Peter but she has no desire to be married to him anymore. And she doesn’t want an ugly divorce. Since they are both hardworking people, one can imagine it could be a clean divorce where they don’t fight over money.

“The more we got used to not being together and living together, the easier this divorce is going to be,” Cynthia Bailey recently revealed to E! News, adding, “I don’t want it to be an ugly divorce because I still love Peter. I just don’t want to be married to Peter anymore.”

Even though Bailey wants to divorce her husband, she still wants to remain friends with him. Throughout their marriage, both Cynthia Bailey and Peter have worked hard on their careers and businesses, so it makes sense that they would want to respect each other’s hard work and success. And as Cynthia explains, she still wants to see Peter succeed in life.

“I still root for him. I want him to win,” she added. “I still love and support him. We are just not going to be married anymore.”

Many people may be blaming The Real Housewives of Atlanta on this couple’s troubles. The two were dating when they joined the show and got married while filming. They are currently filming the upcoming season of the show, and Cynthia is now filing for divorce. But she doesn’t think that the show has done any damage to their marriage. Instead, she thinks that her marriage would have failed regardless of the show, as they simply grew apart.

“Regardless of if we were on the show or not,” she said, “our issues would have happened anyways because it’s just personalities and it’s just chemistry and it’s also compatibility. I am really optimistic that in the end, after we take some time, we are going to be friends at the end of this because that was the start.”

Of course, it didn’t really help that she was in the spotlight while her marriage was falling apart. While filming The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Bailey learned that her husband had been caught in an Instagram video touching another woman. It wasn’t pleasing to Cynthia, and this could have been the beginning of the end. She clearly didn’t appreciate him touching another woman. While Peter may be eager to get back into the dating game, Bailey is taking things a bit slowly. She has no interest in dating anyone right now, and she would much rather focus on her business.

“[I”m] trying to get out of a relationship, not into one,” Cynthia Bailey pointed out in her interview, saying that she has no plans of dating anyone right now.
