Blac Chyna ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ Debut The Beginning Of The End For Kylie Jenner’s Reign?

Love her or hate her, Blac Chyna’s relationship with Rob Kardashian has caused major waves in the Kardashian-Jenner family. Diehard fans know that there is a delay between when Keeping Up with the Kardashians films and when it airs. Thanks to this delay, fans can live through the Kardashian-Jenner family drama twice. Once in gossip columns and on social media, and then again on the show. While fans have known about Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian’s whirlwind romance for months, the episodes which show how the Kardashian-Jenner sisters take the news have just begun airing.

According to Radar Online, in last week’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashian’s, the Kardashian-Jenner clan found out about Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s engagement. If you hoped that Rob traveled to momager Kris Jenner’s home to present his blushing bride-to-be to his family, prepare to be disappointed. It seems that the Kardashian-Jenner family found out that they were soon to share a last name with their once archenemy the same way that everyone else did: on social media.

And the women in Rob Kardashian’s life took the news hard.

Khloe Kardashian, whose feud with Blac Chyna burned the hottest and allegedly led to her kicking her darling little brother Rob out of her house in January 2016, didn’t pull any punches.

“Why was he able to propose in front of her whole family but not us? I feel like Rob is deliberately excluding us from so many things and he almost likes this wedge being put between us all.”

Kourtney Kardashian kept things in perspective by pointing out that there have been many Kardashian-Jenner weddings, but most of them did not stand the test of time. Although, she did contemplate changing her children’s last name so that Rob and Blac Chyna’s child wouldn’t be the only one to have the Kardashian name.

There has always been a question of how much of Keeping Up with the Kardashians is staged. Assuming that scene is the raw version of the Kardashian-Jenner family’s reaction to Rob’s happiness, it reveals deeper issues than the sisters intended. The golden couple status that Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian have was meant for another couple, Tyga and Kylie Jenner.

While the Kardashian-Jenner sisters may not have been thrilled with their only brother’s love for Blac Chyna, it has given the sagging reality show a much-needed shot of drama. Before Rob and Blac Chyna, the role of cute couple seemed destined for Kylie Jenner and her on-again, off-again beau, Tyga.

Since Kim Kardashian West’s marriage to Kris Humphries, there has been an odd quirk about the family and their reality show. The sister with the freshest, most endearing romance essentially becomes the most popular cast member. Until recently, the most popular cast member was Kylie Jenner, but with Blac Chyna set to make her KUwtK debut this weekend, could she take Kylie’s crown?

Tyga and Kylie Jenner’s relationship always had an undercurrent of controversy attached to it. Though neither the Kardashian-Jenner clan nor Tyga would confirm the relationship, fans suspected that the two began dating while Kylie Jenner was a minor. According to VH1, Tyga and Kylie Jenner may have started seeing each other as early as August 2014, around the time of Kylie’s 17th birthday. But, while Rob and Chyna only seem to get closer, Tyga and Kylie have repeatedly fallen apart for no apparent reason.

Kylie and Tyga couldn’t provide Keeping Up with the Kardashians with the kind of fairytale romance viewers saw with her older sisters. And though Kylie and Tyga seem to be back together, a fairytale wedding doesn’t seem to be in the cards for them. Could Kris Jenner have realized that her family’s show needed a romance? Could that be behind her quick acceptance of Blac Chyna?

Anything is possible, but Kylie and Tyga’s status as the reigning couple of KUwtK may not be totally revoked. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Rob and Blac Chyna are set to star in their own reality series, Rob and Chyna. Rob and Blac Chyna’s show would leave a hole in KUwtK, one which Tyga and Kylie could easily fill if they can stay together.
